AmLactin's Foot Cream was recommended to me by my podiatrist because I've dealt with extremely dry and cracked heels for years. They had reached the point that in dry weather seasons they'd begin to bleed. It was some bad stuff. I purchased this product and began using it three times a day, as instructed by my foot doctor. In about two weeks I noticed a significant improvement in my heels. The cracks closed up and my foot became much softer. I must say, however, that I found that this worked best when used in conjunction with a foot file. Once my heels looked like they were completely healed, I ceased filing at the callouses and began to just use the lotion. While my heels still remained in good condition, they did begin to harden just a bit. The combination of foot file and this lotion can't be beat, and my heels look better than they have in years. I wish that I had taken before and after photos, but I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of the nasty state of my feet before.The lotion is, as the bottle states, is unscented. There is a slight smell that probably comes from the chemicals, but it's nothing strong or too bad smelling. The bottle was smaller than I expected and it goes by pretty quickly when used three times a day like me. However, for the price and the effectiveness, it is well worth it.The bottle was smaller than I originally expected and goes pretty quickly as I am using it three times a day. This lotion definitely makes your feet softer however it is not the holy grail of foot lotions. The lotion is thick and a tad tacky to the touch. It penetrates deep into thick dried skin and after time reveals a softer, smoother foot. There is not much of a scent, so it is neither pleasant nor unpleasant smelling. While there are products stronger for dry, thick calluses, what this lotion did do was correct a horribly unpleasant ingrown toenail (pincer nail) that had begun to curl (omg!) I had tried everything sans removing the toenail. After about three weeks of nightly use, I noticed my toenail had soften and was falling back into the nail bed. It was so bad it had raised in the center (Pinching my flesh) with both sides curled, and it is now flat and normal looking. The drawback is that this lotion will make the nails on your hands soft so be careful when applying to your feet if you have nice long, hard healthy nails. If you are experiencing ingrown toenails, give this a shot. I will be adding this to my subscription service to put on my toenails so that never happens again. I am still on the quest of finding the best foot lotion out there, suggestions welcome.

I walk around bare foot all day - indoors, outdoors what ever. I only wear shoes when I have to and my feet look like it! They are rough and patchy with calluses and just not pretty at all for sandals. I do get pedicures, but who can afford to do that as often as it takes to keep your feet nice? Not me! I've tried EVERYTHING to help my poor ugly feet. Foot peels were okay but they were gross to use. Pedicures get expensive and you have to keep maintaining it. I've tried Gold Bond, O'Keefe's, Burts Bees and just about every other foot lotion on the market.I found the Amlactin brand while searching for yet another fix for my rough feet. So for money I decided I would try yet another product.THIS STUFF WORKS! No question about it this is the product that finally answered my prayers.I put it on my whole foot for the first few days - once a day and twice if I remembered. After about 5 days I noticed a difference in my feet but they were getting sore! I started only putting the Amlactin on the rough places and calluses and, of course, my heels. I make sure to do it at night before bed and it in the morning if I remember. After a shower is a great time as it really absorbs.Within 2 weeks or so my feet feel and look so amazing. Better than they ever did even right after a pedicure! At this point I'm only putting it on my heel area as it is still "thick" but certainly not rough and flaky anymore.I will never again be without this product - It's amazing.

I don't think there are adequate words to describe how badly cracked and painful my heels were. Nothing I did before worked. The cracks only got deeper and more painful, more of them began to open up till my whole heels were covered in deep, crater like cracks. It became painful to walk, and some of the cracks had even begun to bleed. It was like everything I did to make the cracks heel did little to nothing to help, and sometimes it even seemed like I was making things worse. I found a recommendation for this cream on one of those ridiculous buzzfeed type articles about with a stupid random number of the most loved items on amazon for treating heels (yes, that was actually an article, and thank the gods some idiot got paid to write that!) This cream was number three recommended on the list, and when I did a little internet research on it, it was pretty well recommended from podiatrists and pedicure professionals alike. So I decided to give it a try. OMG!! Two applications of the cream and there was an immediate improvement. I could literally see the cracks knitting together and the skin around them becoming smoother. In three weeks time the cracks have all closed up, the skin is smooth. Some of the cracks that were deep enough to scar didn't even scar! This stuff is mana from the gods for your feet!

I’m a 32 male. Needed foot cream for my calluses as I sit cross legged frequently while I work on my computer. I tried normal moisturizers with shea butter but they didn’t heal or soften the calluses. They were getting harder and drier by the day.With this foot cream I saw and felt significant results in 2 days. The calluses softened a lot and I can tell my feet will be quite soft in a week or soGreat product

Immediately softened feet even after first use. It’s Not greasy or oily. So far I’m Impressed with this product.

I don't feel that the foot cream has have not made my feet softer but I will use it continuously to see if it really improves.
