a value for the money and the smell is good

It smells very good and lasts all day. I'm ordering a second bottle soon.

This Jovan Musk smells nice but they've reformulated or something because it's definitely not that Classic Jovan Musk scent. In fact, it is so different that if I hadn't purchased it from the Jovan store, I would have been sure I had been duped by a knock off. After some research as to why it's so different I was persuaded that they just changed the scent to "update" the profile. I'll wear it. I may even grow to like it. But I wanted the Classic Jovan Musk for Men scent and I didn't get it.

I buy this every few months for my husband. I like the fact that it is a better value than purchasing the same thing out of a store.

If you wore this back in the 80s in high school, you know the scent and longevity of this brand. No bottle leakage, and very easy to carry no matter where you are. you can wear it with anything and it lasts a very long time. The bottle size is the same like it was back in the 80s. great size to carry anywhere.

It doesn't smell like the original Jovan Musk

Hunting down classic aftershaves from back in the day, I decided to try Jovan Musk which is described as an aftershave/cologne. Born in 1973 this is described on the packaging as “Masculine. Powerful. Persuasive.”. So it is definitely from that era when its animal attraction was the main feature! And being orange in colour also gives it that 1970s vibe. Jovan Musk has a warm, lightly musky, spicy and slightly soapy scent. It smells good from the moment you open the bottle and it feels comfortable splashing it on after shaving, with very little in the way of stinging. Once on the skin that warm fresh smell remains for a while. It isn’t the longest lasting scent but the fragrance fades fairly quickly to a low level and stays that way for several hours. It really is quite pleasant and has a clean scent which it would be difficult to be offended by. I don’t have any significant feeling of nostalgia for this brand although I did see it on the shelves back in the 1980s. But sadly nobody ever bought it for me for Christmas so for me it has remained untried until I bought this bottle. I’m glad I’ve bought this. It’s not too musky but the warmth of the spice really brings a great fragrance at pretty good price.

Found it to be very nice and subtle kind of fragrance... thing i liked it was the intensity of smell is like not too hard to be noticed from a distance... and it decreases with time ..
