I am someone who is SUPER picky when it comes to chapstick. I don’t want to get any in my mouth and then it ‘stick’ in my throat, for lack of a better way to describe it. It seems that most SPF chapsticks are only worse in that area. A few years ago, I burned my lips for the first time pretty badly, and ever since they burn way easier. I’ve been on the hunt for a good SPF chapstick to wear when I’m outside and someone influenced me to try this kind. It’s amazing!! It doesn’t have a weird taste that sticks in my throat, it’s a good minty fresh scent and tingle without being too much, and it works! I will never be found without this in the sun again!

This is the BEST lip balm. I have very sensitive skin, and this is one of the only lip balms that protects my lips and lasts for a decent amount of time before I have to reapply. Not to mention it has SPF so I can protect my lips in the sun. It is super minty though, so if your don't like that, I would find another flavor.

I just got this earlier today and I’m already prepared to say this is hands down the best all around lip product I’ve tried. First, there is ZERO sunscreen taste! I hate the taste of spf chapsticks. This one is SPF 25 and you’d never know. Second, it is SO moisturizing! I have only applied it TWICE all day today! What?! Honestly I didn’t even get it for the moisturizing quality, I got it for the SPF and I’m so impressed. I got the mint and it is very refreshing but not overwhelming at all, slightly tingly at first but it goes away. Already added another one to my cart. Where has this been all my life?

Update- even though the tube looks half empty, this is actually lasting a LOT longer than I thought. It is worth the $8. This pic is after just a few days of light use..I think the tube was filled with more air than product. Not worth $8. It's okay product..pretty much just petroleum/aquaphor with mint essential oil (shrug).

After trying many other things this was the ONLY thing that worked to heal the awful chapped lips I had. I love this stuff!!! I had tried everything I knew & even some new things but nothing worked. Not even my usual go to, Neosporin Lip Health overnight lip therapy, which usually works but this time didn’t. It came the next day and I immediately put this on. Wow!! I’m always wearing some type of lip balm. Even if I’m at home & carry it with me everywhere! Usually Burts Bees or Chap Stick. And usually need to apply it at least every few hours or so but not this! After applying this the first time I immediately noticed relief! My lips felt moist, soft & smooth but not tacky at all & I love the slight minty taste and fresh feeling on my lips. And there’s no shine for those who don’t want to look like they’re wearing lip gloss. It’s pretty unnoticeable. I went out to run errands and took it with me thinking I’d need to reapply it. I got home about 4-5 hrs later & it hit me... I hadn’t had to reapply it once!!! And my lips still felt wonderful!!! It gave my lips immediate relief & the following day the chapped lips that I’d struggled with for the past two weeks & tried many other things were gone!!! I’m going to make sure I’m never without this!! I just wish the tube was a little bigger for the price but everything has gone up during this pandemic. However beings I’m always buying so many other types of lip balms & ointments I don’t think I’ll need to anymore so maybe this will save me money.

Love this lip ice. Needed something with sunscreen that didn't taste terrible. This fit the bill, great taste.

I rarely leave product reviews unless I am completely blown away by a product (in either a positive or negative way). I was instantly impressed with this stuff after my first use! I only received it yesterday and I can already tell that I’ve found a new favorite lip product. I tend to have dehydrated and cracked/peeling lips, no matter how hydrated I actually am. I have tried dozens of lip moisturizers, balms, glosses, chapstick, etc. and usually find one that is pretty awesome and I like it enough from the first use, but they always end up feeling waxy over extended uses and I have to switch to a different product. Fed up, I did some research and found JB. I wasn’t wild about the price, so I decided to give the second best recommendation I found a go instead. The same situation described before happened, so I bit the bullet and ordered JB. From the first application I was incredibly impressed! It has a texture like a slightly less viscous Vaseline, a delightfully light and refreshing minty aroma, and somehow absorbs into my lips while leaving the perfect amount of product on top to give them a subtle, natural shine. AND it lasts so much longer than anything else I’ve tried! I don’t feel like I need to constantly reapply throughout the day. Even when it’s completely gone from my lips, they still feel more hydrated and healthy. I can tell that this will be my go-to for a looong time to come, BUT if for some reason I end up getting the same experience with JB as the other products I’ve tried, I’ll be back to edit my review. Otherwise, this stuff is the gold standard of hydrating lip treatments/products. It would be nice if it had a slight tint to the formula, but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means.

Works to heal my cracked dry lips and prevents it from happening again. I tried this after reading that our special forces carries this lip balm. So I tried it and wow. My lips healed and they stay moist now.
