Works well snorkeling
Took this snorkeling in Cozumel. Worked great. Didn't leak at all, had it in the water for 5+ hours. Camera still takes amazing photos with it on

Beware No Warranty and No Support, Your Camera Deserves Better
I purchased this product EACHSHOT 40M Waterproof Underwater Camera Housing Case Bag for Sony A6000 Camera on Feb 20th for my month-long diving vacation to Mexico beginning Mar 1... I was extremely nervous trusting this case with my favorite camera ever... Not wanting to deal with acclimating to my new case while refreshing my dive skills I let it sit for the first week and didn't even touch it. Planning a day on the catamaran for some snorkeling, I thought this would be a great time to play with the camera a little bit. I took it to the dive shop with me and tested it in the tank for rinsing gear... great no leaks... took it diving with me that day without the camera... filled with tissue. 54-minute dive with maximum depth of 84'. No leaks! I can trust it tomorrow for snorkeling, right? I went home and loaded the camera in the case. While they were setting anchor, and getting ready for snorkeling, I checked to make sure I had I had my filter off and that the battery was good and the memory card was in. I set the camera down to put on my fins, mask, and snorkel, grabbed my camera and jumped in the water... Immediately I hear a beeping... The case flooded because the on-off switch now missing... Camera ruined...Fulfilled by Amazon so I can't return it after 30 Days and the company FotoPal seems to be impossible to contact... So yeah, I just spent $175 to destroy my favorite camera and have no recourse...

Needs improved shimming to fit camera and better button functioning
I purchased this unit in order to protect my SONY Alpha 6000 when out on the water in my dinghy and for possible use when snorkeling. In order to work correctly, the Menu settings have to be set for Monitor View only, not the Electronic View Finder. All images have to be viewed on the monitor screen. Remove the UV filter, as noted by other commentators, or the camera will not fit correctly in the waterproof housing. Remove the neck strap from the camera in order to allow the camera to fit in the housing. On the positive side of things, it appears to be a sturdy unit. By way of information, I have had the SONY A6000 for over a year and am reasonably familiar with the functions of large number of buttons. This is a great camera, but has a steep learning curve with more than 50 optional settings on the menu.Still at early stage of preliminary evaluation. This was the second unit I received. The first unit appeared to have been previously opened and repacked. After following instructions carefully,, I installed my SONY Alpha 6000 into the Meikon Waterproof case. I first wanted to test the ease of use of the controls. Everything worked well except for the button labeled "ISO". This is used to move the enlarged image when reviewing photos, and also to change the ISO when shooting photos. I pressed firmly and repeatedly on the button, but could not get it to respond. All other functions were OK. Housing is bulky and difficult to grasp, but that was to be expected from a waterproof housing. Zoom function of lens works well, but is very clumsy to work with.I sent the first unit back and was pleased with the ease of the process. Five stars to Amazon. They immediately sent out a replacement unit. It arrived on Sunday afternoon via the U.S. Postal Service. The USPS left the box halfway up our driveway, and had it been raining, it would have suffered.I again tested the new unit, and now TWO of the buttons failed to work - the ISO button and the :Garbage Can-Image discard buttons. Rather than again return what otherwise appears to be a good unit, my son suggested putting a few thin paper shims between the support posts inside the waterproof housing and the front of the camera. The Garbage Can-Image Discard button now would work consistently. A bit more shimming and all the buttons were working correctly. The ISO button seems particularly vulnerable, as the length of the rod on the button is shorter than all the other rods. This proved to be a minor fix, and I decided to keep the unit, pending further actual field testing. The images were of the expected high quality typical for the Sony A6000.As noted by others, the unit did not include the essential tube of silicone grease. I will buy that separately and move on to the next phase of testing. The instructions and commentators all note the importance of carefully removing and lubricating the O-ring seals. The O-rings are difficult to remove, and excessive force will damage the O-rings. The instructions state that the O-rings should be replaced once a year, but no information is provided as to where I can purchase replacement O-rings. Needs a better hand grip to allow single handed shooting. Needs a buoyancy float for neutral buoyancy, or it will quickly find the bottom of the ocean.Despite my initial difficulties fitting the camera in a way that allows all the buttons to work, this appears to be a very solid unit.

I couldn't be happier: )
I've had it for about a couple months now and recently took it for a trip to Myrtle Beach. We had some rough wave days but it held up perfectly! Several reviews said to get this extra sealant but I haven't needed it. The videos contain sound and everything! I couldn't be happier :)

Worth every penny!
The media could not be loaded. 100% satisfied. I used this for white shark cage diving and it performed wonderfully. I didn’t have any issues whatsoever and I didn’t even get a chance to test it. I also attached a GoPro on top of it, where the external flash go. You can get the adapter for less than $5 here on Amazon.

Too bulky
This was entirely too bulky to manage, it did not fit the camera well and the camera slid around inside. I was afraid to submerge it in the water after reading about other people ruining their cameras.

So far so good :)
I love this product. I am not giving it a 5 star score because the first one that I received came defective with the "shutter speed control button" defective, it was not working. I returned it and ordered a second product. The second housing I received worked great. This is so much cheaper than ikelite I just returned from Roatan from a scuba dive trip yesterday. I dove 28 times and the housing was great. My underwater pictures turned out great. I sold my Sealive 1400 and bought the Sony a6000 with this housing. The improvement in my pictures were tremendous. I used my old Sealife flash with a slave optic cable and also a dragon sealife video-light 2000 lumens. The pictures were great. I dove to about 100 ft, but my average depth was 50ft to 70ft. I set the Sony camera on the P automatic control, white balance for underwater photography, synchronized my Sealife flash SL963 with the sony a6000 automatically. I took great pictures, so much better than the Sealife 1400, day and night. I paid $ 185 for the housing and with amazon prime got both of them delivered within a couple of days.So far, I am very happy with my purchase...:)

Works Well
This housing has worked very well so far. Absolutely no problems. I've only taken it down to about 50 feet, so can't judge how well it will perform below that. Since I'm just an occasional diver, and more frequent snorkeler, this housing is perfect for me.

Keine Undichtigkeiten
