Australian Gold Sun Lotion SPF 30 237 ml

We absolutely love Australian Gold products, primarily because of the lovely coconuty smell which always reminds us of the Caribbean. The lotions, in particular, provide great protection from the sun and even for someone with a fair and sensitive skin SPF30 would probably be more than sufficient. The product is fairly water resistant meaning you do not need to reapply every time you go into the water which is great. No dislikes and would strongly recommend.

I cannot comment on how suitable this is for sensitive skin as no one in my family suffers with this. This cream goes on very well and is not sticky at all. I've decided the fragrance is like a cross between chocolate-orange and bubblegum which sounds strange but this basically translates into "smells nice", my daughter asked what perfume I had! The bronzing effect for me was pretty non-existent but I think what they mean is that as it has a beigey brown colour to it it doesn't leave your skin chalky white after applying. Basically, so impressed with the factor 30 I'm also getting the factor 50.

I love this product - for someone who is quite fair and burns easily, to be able to go out in the Mexican sun and not burn is wonderful. I used this for the first 5 days of the holiday - to give a bit of colour and for extra protection, then switched to the Australian Gold 15 for the rest of the time. It goes on easily, smells great and best of all the protection is the best I have ever used. The added tint is subtle but keeps you from looking uber-white and doesn't transfer onto clothing. First bought Australian Gold products in Mexico a couple of years ago. It's not really available in the shops here, but for those who seek it out, it's worth it. Good large size too - seems a little pricey maybe, but a bottle of this will last one person 4-5 days easily.

Love this product although the only thing I didn't like so much was that it leaves stains on light clothing! Not great whilst wearing nice outfits on holiday. Does give the skin a beautiful bronzed glisten though so we can't have everything! :-)

I first discovered this a few years ago (albeit the SPF50) as I burnt myself horrendously in the Dominican Republic and the on-site store had Australian Gold and it was literally a lifesaver, it made it bearable for me to go outside with it on. It smells incredible and if you do take a tan then it does enhance it a bit with the bronzer but not to such an extent it looks like fake tan. I don’t think it’s as water resistant as some have said but I’m bad for not re-applying it as often as I should so that’s probably my fault!
