I love pearled couscous. The price seemed cheap for this product so I was a bit concerned about quality but I didn’t need to be. This is a great price for a pasta that my kids prefer over all others. Cooks up very quickly and well, flavor is great, texture correct. I always lightly toast mine first for the aroma, but you don’t have to. It is fantastic in soups.

This is great Pearl Couscous at a reasonable price. It's easy to make and can be flavored any way you like. There are tons of recipes online! Will buy this again!

I recently discovered Israeli couscous in a small box in the grocery store and gave it a try. It's much larger grains of pasta than traditional couscous, which gives it a fun mouth feel. It also has a great toasty pasta taste. I shopped around and found the 5-lb bag of Roland was the best value and gave good reviews. So far I've only cooked it like rice, with only enough water or broth for it to soak up. You can also toast it in fat like risotto before adding liquid, and I'll try that next. I think that it's great with a nice chewy al dente texture, so set your timer for a little less than the bag says the first time and test it before you cook it for the full time.

Awesome couscous. I usually make it plain with some butter and salt and makes a good breakfast / lunch!

Well I'm not going to run out of Israeli Couscous for a while. Tastes great and cooks easy. I use it in soup instead of big noodles. Also throw it in with cucumber, tomato, onion, chick peas, kalamata olives, olive oil, mint & feta cheese for a great Greek salad. FYI Israeli Couscous is bigger than your normal grain-like couscous. It's the size of small pearls

A great purchase for the price. For a family that has couscous often, this is a no-brainer.
