Can air plants withstand freesing temperatures or generally be planted outside?

Airplants like a humid environment, so can be kept outdoors in the summer but would need to be brought inside for the rest of the year. They are best placed in a windowsill where they receive indirect sunlight, preferably with high humidity. Somewhere like a bathroom windowsill is perfect for these plants.

What size are these plants please?

The Ionantha species is one of the smaller forms of airplant, and will grow to approx 10cm in height and 10cm in diameter when mature. The product shipped will naturally vary in shape and size, but will grow to the size mentioned given correct care and attention.

Air plants would work great . Just hardly ever , if ever in a bathroom water them . It’s easy to kill them by overwatering and you only have to do it once .

Can i put these plants in glass empty fish tank

Yes, that is what i have done, attaching them to drift/bog wood with super glue with pebbles on the floor of the tank. I have also fixed a blue/white light to the top. I have had it set up for many months and the plants re growing well. Hope this helps and good luck if you proceed.
