very complicated
Pretty good book although it offers nothing new as far as I can tell. His descriptions of all aspects of the golf swing seem pretty complicated. Perhaps simple, intuitive descriptions would resonate better with average golfers.

Great book- top 1% of all golf books!
I bought Mike's book and it's had a significant impact on my golf game very quickly. His book is one of finest golf instruction books I've ever read (and I've read A LOT of them). Mike wrote the book in a very simple and easy to read way and the pictures are very helpful.Mike also writes about many powerful swing concepts that I haven't heard other instructors discuss before. Mike then provides some very easy to learn drills that teach and help you master those ideas. It's a few of these new ideas that have really helped my game.Mike also provides some very good instruction on golf fitness and how that could help your golf game. Mike's chapter on golf's adjacencies to other sports is brilliant. After doing some of the drills Mike suggests for about 2 weeks, the improvement has been significant, quick and easy.As I've said, I've read 100's of golf instruction books and this has impacted my golf more than any.I initially bought the hardcover edition several months ago but also bought the Kindle edition for when I travel. This a tremendous book for somebody who's never picked up a golf club or somebody who's been a golf nut their whole life.

Mike Malaska Doesn't Miss Anything in Teaching Golf.
I've always liked how Mike connects other sports to golf. I've played football, baseball, swimming, and a lot of softball; and he connects them all to golf.

There's stuff in here to like and find useful
3 stars and I'm being charitable. I bought this book on the basis of introductory narrative, the citing of Jack Nicklaus' recommendation and Amazon reviews. There's stuff in here to like and find useful, but in the end (a rather expensive end) this book is not for me. A major premise of the book is to keep things simple. Yet I found the format and the progression of the instruction both over detailed, yet muddied and insufficient. Certainly, a major reason this book is so pricy is that it is entirely in color, AND at 12" x 12", on heavy stock.... It is more of a coffee table book, than the typical golf instruction book you could sneak into your briefcase or take along to the range. Buyer Beware. (I note this review references my purchase of the Kindle edition of this book. I bought the Kindle edition only after purchasing the hardcover edition... finding the hardcover edition very "pretty", but utterly unusable in it's size and weight to be a practical golf instruction manual).

Great info for all golfers.
I follow Malaska on YouTube, is instruction is second to none. The content of the book a must read for golfers of any level. The only downside and it’s almost debilitating is the physical size of the book. Knowing how big it is I would not buy it again which is ridiculous on my part because info is great. The best tip is near the end. THE INVISIBLE STEP, we need this information to make the best golf swing,

Worth the money at twice the price!
My first ever review on Amazon.Just finished reading the kindle version and I have to highly recommend Mike's book.I've taken several lessons over the course of 4 years and Mike has the ability to distill all the information I've learned into a clear and organized manner. The section on the arms as rotators was giant aha moment for me. Being a right hand dominant person playing golf left handed, I just focused on hitting a tennis back hand down the line. Results were improved compression and direction with a lot less strain with far more consistently. Effortless power not powerful effort.I look forward to trying Mike's method of chipping and pitching next.

Solid Gold Instruction
I found Malaska's YouTube videos very helpful when I came across this book. This was well presented and the ability to change the image sizes in the Kindle was very helpful.

Clear picture of the golf swing
The concept of the lead arm being a rotator instead of a puller helped me understand why my swing was so inconsistent, very much appreciated the many good pointers in this book.

Great content ruined by terrible editing.
I only purchased this because the hard cover book is not available in the UK..I am sorry to say that although I found the content useful and helpful, there are so many editing errors that they become distracting and ruin the whole experience. There are images that suggest you follow A B C then D, but A and C are the same and B and D are the same. There is a sequence of images A B C and D to follow, but only A and B are visible. He talks about how important the set up is in pitching and the image is of chipping. You keep getting the feeling that there are pages missing as there are frequent references to things that don't appear in the book.He says that having both feet square to the target line is the startling point, but will discuss other options in greater detail later, and then never does.I could go on with many more examples, it seems a great pity that a good book should be written only to be edited by a five year old.Oh, and don't even think of purchasing it if you own a Kindle that doesn't show colour images, otherwise you will have the unenviable task of trying to read text in various assorted shades of grey.

Kindle I Can Feel Your Pain by Mike Malaska
The Kindle version is far from complete . The hardcover version has excellent reviews but in Kindle the content is confusing because of poor editing and missing sections and I believe that it should not have released in this form .I also am of the opinion that purchasers should be refunded , as this edition will only harm the reputation of one of golf's best teachers , who I'm sure would not have sanctioned its release .

Poorly edited....not what I would have expected
Poorly edited, the analogies were very confusing. The one area of the book I was trying hard to understand what it meant but was clueless. I did find one or two useful gems in there though
