I love how smooth & non clumping this product is to use! I’ve used the product extensively , especially for making fruit leathers! It has thickened anything I’ve set my mind on thickening, from a fruit puree’, to fruit juice! I love it for making gravy, and thickening stews & soups, as it never clumps! The large size is perfect for someone like me!

Best Jel thickener for canning pie filling. Flour or cornstarch leaves the pie filling a little cloudy and sometimes mushy in the jars, then doesn't always cook up right when baked. With Hoosier Hill Farm Clear Jel Thickener (Cook-Type) my pie fillings look so pretty in the quart jars, and always bake out perfectly. I highly recommend Hoosier Hill Farm Clear Jel Thickener for canning.

Great product. I use it in fruit pies. My pies come out wonderful every time.

Really great for canning. There's no flavor to mess with what you've created and it gels well. My first 1.5 lb of this lasted a few years with me canning a lot of apple pie filling. I highly recommend this. I'm actually back on to buy more of this because I finally ran out.
