Q: Does this have the leather look shown in the ad or is it fabric?

It is a vinyl type fabric but it does protect against weather and has a texture to the fabric so it doesn't look plasticky For me it was the best of both worlds for the price

Q: Does it fit Mac book Pro 2018?

Yes, it perfectly fits. There is also enough space for a 17-inch laptop.

Q: How do you get the USB to work?

You need a Portable charger/Power bank (not included with bag) Place it in bag and connect it to the Usb port inside top pocket. Then all you have to do to charge phone is to connect charging lead to Usb port on side of bag.

Q: Will fit trade plates

It is quite deep inside, so I think they might fit.
