Product generation looking good..quality is good too, however, some items were missing, like drilling screws. Assembling took a whole day.

£2480 and only lasted 2 years even says lifetime warranty Amazon only give you 2 years after that they don’t want to know not helpful at all and very rude customer service from India won’t even tell me who the third party company is will never buy anything expensive from Amazon again stay away from lifetime sheds waist of money

What a great shed took me in the wife about one day to erect instructions are a little tricky but go on the internet and watch the build on YouTube really impressed would recommend

Love the finish of this shed

This shed fought me every single panel. Not one panel perfectly lined up or was easy to screw together or assemble. This despite having a perfectly level pre existing concrete base. Almost every single screw had to be manipulated, coerced, forced or put in at an angle to make the pieces fit. The doors are particularly bad. Despite hours of painstaking and infuriating adjustment they still don’t line up perfectly. At one point I actually thought the wrong doors had been included in my assembly pack. The shed is finally up, but in total took two men four complete days to complete and it’s still not perfect as the doors are sticking. Lifetime really need to get their quality control together. This was a nightmare to assemble. I’ll never buy another Lifetime shed.

I have had a 10x8 in Nova Scotia for 12 plus years with no issues. Never needs painting & most important to me it doesn't sweat inside which keeps everything dry. My new 15x8 sits on a 2x6 pressure treated platform & then filled to the top with class A gravel & crusher dust which adds to the solid feel of the floor & keeps pests from making their home. Also use tin facia to finish the base, not plastic or the sun will dry & crack it in no time. You won't be able to move it easily ,however, if you wish to re-locate. I used the extra ADZ screws it comes with to attach 3/4 inch strapping to the walls. Use a spade bit to recess the holes & align with the recessed holes located throughout each panel then build your shelves or work bench. Assemble exactly in sequence as the instructions. If you don't you could have your walls assembled & then finish for the day without the trusses etc. to give you support for a breezy over-night.

Looks great quality and size

There was an ancient, rusted, warped, eyesore of a metal shed on a 10x10 concrete pad that needed to be replaced as part of the "make this yard beautiful” plan. We spent a good while searching local stores and the internet before stumbling upon the Lifetime 10x8 Shed on Amazon.com (model 60393). It had the space we wanted and the physical appeal we were hoping for. Isn’t it so darling with those windows and that gable?! The option of getting it in either cool gray tones or warm tan and brown tones is a nice bonus to best pair with any home color. We chose the latter. When we ordered it, the expected delivery date was 16 days out. Two days later I received a notice that it was going to arrive after just 10 days. But then I was happily surprised when five days after placing the order, it was suddenly out for delivery that day. Thankfully I was ready to get this shed assembled. One thing you should note is that this shed will not be brought by an Amazon delivery vehicle. It came via a freight company, on a long wood pallet, and between the pallet and the two huge boxes on it, it weighed close to 600 pounds. My life was going to be a lot easier if the delivery person would be willing to bring it to the backyard rather than drop it off on the driveway. So I put together a plate of cookies as a sweet thank you/bribe/incentive for the driver, and it worked! The two of us pushed and pulled that huge long heavy load around to the back patio with his special hydraulic fork lift dolly, and that driver’s act of kindness alone saved me so much time and energy. Because friends, it’s blazin’ hot here right now. And whilst I’m fairly wiry and capable, I’m also a grandma who’s knocking on her sixth decade. I greatly appreciated the help. The shed comes in two huge boxes that are the same size. They’re wrapped in plastic on the aforementioned wood pallet. My recommendation is that you have a large space ready to assemble your shed prepared in advance. Having a table to work on will make it more comfortable, and having all your tools at the ready will simplify this project. If you don’t have power tools (especially a phillips screwdriver and a bit to use with the socket ratchet wrenches), buy or borrow some. You’ll be so glad you did. I opened the top box - NOTE, the cardboard box tops and bottoms just fold and tuck in as you can see on the photo I’ve included, so when you easily untuck it, it opens up into a huge flat sheet of cardboard, which makes a really nice surface for laying out pieces and parts on while you’re working on this. The instruction manual was on top. It was high noon and 96º and sunny, so I took it inside, scanned the QR code for the installation video on YouTube, made a sandwich and ate it while I watched the video (45 minutes long). That was very helpful to gain a sense of what was ahead. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to do that if you’re a novice like me. My whole assembly process was a dance between referencing the paper instructions to help me locate the correct components, and watching the video instructions for how to install it. NOTE: the video does not start with delivery or include unboxing and finding where everything is. It just smoothly flows from step to step without any hitches, which is why it takes just 45 minutes to assemble. It was a full day project for this grandma. If I were doing the process again, here’s what I wish I’d known and what I would have done: You must have a flat level pad…just know that starting out. It does matter. You don’t want it to be off-kilter or misaligned at the end. Concrete is recommended. Alternatively, you can use their assembly instructions to build a wood base from materials you purchase. I had a concrete pad which I verified was level and was so glad about that. Despite watching the installation video, I didn’t read the paper assembly instructions before I started. The video always shows what step they’re on, and I would just reference that page in the paper instructions. Because of this, I never looked at a few yellow pages inserted into the middle of Step 7 of the paper instructions. These yellow pages are the complete parts list and they say “Remove this section for quick reference”. I thought all the metal parts were in the top box (box 1). Not so. Some of the parts you need right away are in the bottom box (Box 2). You’ll need to have ample space to unpack both boxes to access everything as needed. I recommend watching the installation video, then lay everything out in groups and get organized. Finding parts for each step took me a lot of time. First you’ll assemble or attach hardware to several things. The trusses, the gable, the doors. I did all these steps by myself. Having a second person finding parts and handing them to you as you go would save a lot of time, but it’s not strictly necessary. One person can easily get all the way through Step 5 without help. When you start Step 6, Flooring, that’s when having a second person begins to matter. And by Step 7, Wall Assembly, you definitely want another person to help. Fortunately my husband got home from work right when I got to this point and we made good progress. A few steps could have been done alone once the walls were assembled, but again, it’s helpful if there are two people doing this. I made a few rookie mistakes during assembly, but had a great experience messaging with LIFETIME LIVE CHAT online. So helpful and proficient. They got me sorted out. Real human phone call support is also available during set hours if you prefer that method. Once you finish assembling the shed, don’t skip the anchoring to the concrete or wood base step. You don’t want to get all the way to the end and not anchor it before using it. We picked up the recommended supplies at the hardware store to anchor it down. As you can see from all the pictures online, this shed is very beautiful and spacious. We could not be happier with it. We love that it is Made in America. Following the instructions, we were able to assemble it without any issues. The doors line up perfectly, open and close easily. The windows and skylights let in natural light. The shelves along both sides are a nice addition to the ones we’ll be putting in there to hold items and add stability to the shed. The vent holes on either side allow for some air flow but keep bugs out with the mesh screens. The 72” door height is great for us. Our concrete pad has a concrete ramp, which will make rolling things in and out convenient. The door is lockable from the outside with a padlock. If you’re looking for a quality shed that will not rust and will be an attractive addition to your space, this one is worth every penny.

The shed turned out so well I am thinking of moving my mother-in-law into it. :-) Seriously, it’s a very nice looking shed and functional. Most sheds are eye sores. This shed brings the backyard to life. Install was a little challenging. It took two of us two full days, with breaks. We found the online videos a good supplement to the manual. All the parts are well labeled. It was like building a life sized erector set. We kinda enjoyed it. After it was finished we were missing a door latch. We called the 1-800 number and they shipped it right out, no questions asked. The material is sturdy. It won’t rot or rust. It will be interesting to see how well it will hold up in the FL heat, and if the tie downs will keep hurricane winds from blowing it away. That’s how we lost our last shed. My only advice is to build a level, solid foundation to put it on. The floor it comes with is very nice aesthetically, but it needs a wood or concrete base. All-in-all, a good buy for the money.

So far we are pleased with our shed. Will the instructions were confusing at times it is together and no leaks. I'm glad we waited for the 60138 shed as it has alot of lighting.
