It's simple, practical, and does exactly what it should. The stainless steel body has a polished mirror finish that looks nice sitting on the stove, and it feels durable without being too heavy. The 2-liter capacity is just right for making multiple cups of tea or even filling a French press, so it’s a good size for daily use. The whistle is loud enough to hear from another room, which I appreciate since it’s easy to forget a kettle on the stove. The heat-resistant folding handle is a thoughtful detail—it stays cool enough to grab, and the folding feature makes storage easier, especially if you don’t have a lot of counter or cabinet space. I also like that the pour spout doesn’t drip, which is something I’ve had issues with on cheaper kettles. It’s very shiny; whistles loud enough to hear in other room. Lid closing a little difficult at first. It seems rust resistent. It looks great setting on my stove. A little pricey but I love it

it's sturdy and the handle doesn't get hot but it's the LID that whistles , not the spout. the lid is also exceptionally hard to put on and take off (like, boiling water will splash you if you need to remove the lid). The whistle will also not work unless the lid is fully installed so you have to chose between easy opening to measure temps / add water OR having a working whistle so if you just want to boil water and leave it for an hour, this is a fine pot at a good price. however, if you make baby bottles or do pour over coffee and need to remove the lid easily and often to measure temps, do NOT buy this.

The tea kettle is well made and stylish. I really like it. My issue is the lid appears to be for another tea kettle as only one side seals. The other side only partially fits in the opening which then inhibits the whistle. I have not heard from Amazon nor the company in regards to my concern. I went through all the recommendations for sealing the lid with no resolution. I would recommend the tea kettle with hopes they send it with the correct lid. In looking at photos shared by others; I see many with lids flush with opening on only one side.
