This is a handy mat that I can pack and bring with me. It is large enough for my family to sit on. When packed into its drawstring bag, it measures about 6 inches by 5 inches by 2-2.5 inches. It isn't too heavy and the material is like nylon and its thickness is pretty decent and is waterproof. The edges have a single row of stitching and the seams are neatly tucked away. It has loops at each corner which allows you to use the included four camping stakes to stake down the mat. There are corner pockets which can be filled with sand or rocks to weight the mat down too. As the bag is compact, the mat can't be stuff but needs to be folded to fit it back into it.

I have numerous beach blankets and we always end up using a sheet for convince, which is not waterproof and blows away easily. This blanket comes folded nicely in a small pouch with 4 metal stakes. Unfolded it is a really good size for 2 adults. I think the steaks are more for use in camping on hard ground, not beach sand. But the blanket has pockets on the edges that I can tuck into the sand to keep it from blowing away on the beach. It wasn’t too difficult to re fold the blanket back into a size that can fit into the small pouch it came in. That is a huge plus because it takes up no room at all in my beach bag. I may buy a second one to keep in my car emergency kit because it is sturdy and waterproof and it stores so nicely.

I’m super happy with my purchase. This blanket folds out to about the size of a Queen sized bed. The mat came inside of its own protective carrying case with a drawstring. It arrived super quickly and seems to be of great quality! I can’t wait to use this at the beach in September. This should be of great use on the sand, especially with a new baby. There was no noticeable smell to the product of chemical or anything, which is always something that gives me a headache. So that’s a bonus!The material reminds me of my REI rain jacket.It also comes with 4 heavy duty silver steaks to secure it into the ground.Will update if it’s horrible or exceeds expectations, but overall, this is a great purchase!

Purchased this for our beach vacation. The tarp comes in a convenient and easy to carry pouch. The included stakes secured the tarp in the sand and even withstood some gusty winds. It was easy to brush the sand off the tarp. It was hot to the touch after sitting in the sun for several hours so you will still want to put your towel on it. I was expecting more of a blanket type of product but this reminded me more of a plastic tarp.

Great for what it is. Perfect blanket you bring to the beach or to just put down on the grass. The material is thin but durable. I like the travel bag and I can just throw it in my truck to always have it on hand if it's needed. Having the stakes is very convenient as well.

Love it, got this for my friend, I have one and it's great to have in the car for picnics or going to outdoor concert venues and I got this for my friend so she could have one too, great, love that it folds so tiny but is so durable to use.

Honestly this works great for a nice beach day. It is a good material so it does not pick up/hold sand. Love it. Taking it on the honeymoon to Belize to set up.

Used heaps. Surprisingly robust if taken care of. Great to have in your backpack should you decide to stop and chill out in the park
