Does it work with all scaletrix sets (American series)

It is only compatible with those sets that have either the ARC AIR or ARC PRO powerbase.

I am having a problem connecting to the arc pro base. This controller came with a red Lanyard, but the arc pro base already has a red lanyard control

You need to assign each one to a port, it's in the manual.
