EVERY page is full of The ABSOLUTE TRUTH of all of scriptures I have ever read.

All of Yogananda's books are worth reading. This one contains real gems of wisdom and truth. I bought the kindle edition, but also might buy the paperback so I can lend it to friends.

Daily reading for help with getting centered and out of an anxious state. Highly recommended. Helps one also get closer to God as they understand Him.

A beautiful book of peaceful thoughts and anecdotes offered by the great master Paramahansa Yogananda. Some years ago, I gave this book as a gift to a friend who had just had a baby - it seemed that "Inner Peace" was something that could be very helpful during this time! I just purchased it as an ebook and am very happy with it. Reading from this book I feel makes me a more peaceful individual in thought and feeling. After all, Gandhi did say "be the change you wish to see in the world."

Lovely book that brings the basic understanding and love from all religious faiths together and says no matter what faith you are we all want the same thing such as love, compassion, empathy an shows how to use it to bring yourself peace.

This book is a quick guide to help convince you that inner peace and happiness is truly possible. It makes a great deal of sense.

Stumbled across this book at a coffee shop and decided to order a copy for myself. Love the message and how well the book is put together. Have subsequently ordered book as gifts for friends. It's lovely.

Paramahamsa Yogananda, makes it very clear, the more we are attuned to God the more peace we will feel despite our situations, circumstances. He mentions the peace that passeth our understanding is certainly possible. He also make it very clear, to enjoy this peace uninterruptedly, it is absolutely necessary to be in communion with God everyday. Then the peace we experience is the indication that we are in His presence.There are many insipiring passages in this small booklet, where He gives us many practical ways to achieve inner peace. He insists, “Never let anyone rob you of your peace; and do not steal away the peace of others by your verbal misbehavior....” and “Keep a secret chamber of silence within yourself, where you will not let moods, trials, battles, or inharmony enter. Keep out all hatred, revengefulness, and desires. In this chamber of peace God will visit you.” Elsewhere He states, “The test of man’s wisdom is his equanimity. Little stones that are pelted into the lake of consciousness should not throw the whole lake into commotion” and “the best way to live is to take life as a cosmic game, with its inevitable contrasts of defeat and victory. Enjoy the challenges as you would in a sport, no matter whether at the moment you are victorious or vanquished.”A book to be ready again and again and practiced till we experience the Peace that passeth the understanding.
