Slim profile looks and sounds great
I have been buying the Kef setup piece by piece over the years. I started with the center channel 301c, and added the front 301's last year. Caught these on a big sale from amazon and picked these up to finish my surround sound (i passed on the sub from Kef, only because i like what i have now). These speakers obviously look great on the walls...the slim profile makes it look like a flat panel TV or picture. But the most important thing is the sound and these particular speakers are top quality. The highs and lows are great, and the sound quality is very crisp and clear.Size wise, these are exactly what i would expect from a rear surround speaker. Since the rears dont cover the most action that is on a soundtrack, they do the trick great. Im not sure of the need for the larger 301's for the back, unless you have a large room and are a real audiophile. These will do the trick in almost all cases out there.

Terrific for home theater
I'd prefer to give these 5 stars for home theater; 3 1/2 to 4 for music only. The good: Attractive, nice stands, easy to install on the wall. Great for home theater considering their size and price. When used with a good subwoofer in a small to mid size room, they produce high-quality, lively, full-bodied sound. Less good: 1. I sometimes feel they could use more clarity with voices, though the problem might be with the source material. 2. For 2 channel music, I recommend them primarily for low volume listening. If pushed to fill the room, they can sound brittle, especially with female voices and brass.I presently use the KEFs with a REL subwoofer, which works best with speakers that have a flat response to 80hz or below. The best crossover point I found between the REL and KEFs is at 100hz. The ideal subwoofer for the KEFs would likely have low extension comparable in depth and quality to the REL, but with an ability to crossover at 120hz or slightly higher.

Fantastic Speakers
I purchased 4 of these very thin speakers for my stereo system. They sound very loud and very good. Very easy to mount on any flat surface. I mounted mine to the sides of my subwoofer and front of my tower speakers with Velcro. They are very light in weight and versatile. They are not cheap but worth the price. Very satisfied.

Sound thin
It wasn’t until I bought different pair of on-wall speakers that I realized how bad these sounded. I convinced myself they were fine, but at the end of the day they sound like they look - extremely thin.

Great sound with a slim profile
I don't know how they did it, but these are amazing little speakers! They sound much larger than they really are. For a bit of a price premium, you get the sound of a small bookshelf speaker in a package only 1.5" thick. While they won't deliver room-rattling bass, they will surprise (and frankly amaze) with what they are able to do. Perfect for satellites. You'll probably want a sub for 120Hz and down if used as mains.

Compact good sound for wall-mount Surrounds
Wow - I see some people really hating on these speakers. The worst thing is the price. Otherwise, for the size, they sound quite good. I'm using them for surrounds in a setup with Sonus Faber front and center and a REL sub. They are not full bandwidth speakers and using them alone and without a sub or mounted incorrectly will probably sound bad. For their designed purpose, an unobtrusive wall mounted speaker in a surround setup, they do a great job.

Nice little size for surround sound
Speakers work well as satellites. I would not use the for the front. They fit close to the wall, and white blends well.Just a bit pricey.

Works for wife!
Not much presence for audio listening. Go with Klipsch if your wife allows black speakers. Satisfactory sound for such a small form factor. Happy wife, happy life.
