No Installation, Stand Alone Karaoke Microphone
This is very easy to use, right out of the box. I had to do 2 things: charge the unit by plugging it into an outlet (it takes an hour or so), then connect my iPhone with my new microphone via Bluetooth on my iPhone. No software is necessary. I have the free YouTube app on my phone, so I click on it, then select the title of the song I want with “karaoke” included in that title. Then I turn on my new microphone. The microphone will play the music and my voice will go along with the music (all heard through the microphone). The microphone has a built in speaker. It sounds good, too! No wires, nothing to install!! I did my research before buying....I read that it’s better to not attach a microphone to a tv because it can blow out the tv’s speakers. Since I don’t (and can’t) connect this to a tv, there’s nothing to worry about. I really think it’s just as good and simple to use. It’s easily portable; you can keep it in a purse or bag and bring it to a friend’s house for an impromptu karaoke session! 😜. No other equipment is necessary.

Fun Karaoke Mic!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my son for his birthday. He LOVES it. If you are a professional karaoker this might not be the best mic for you. The sound can be a little distorted. It does have great sound effects and the lighting adds a little extra. We were able to pair it with our smartphone and ipads. It has been loads of fun for our singer.

My grandkids love this mic! Now I need 2 more!The lights are beautiful.The entertainment is pure fun.Sound effects are fun.Easy set up.Might need to buy the parents noise canceling headphones.If your kids love to sing or entertain, they will love this easy to travel mic.

Do not purchase
The microphone part does not work correctly. I tried speaking into it, and the sound would go in and out.

Fun colors but cuts out.
The mic cuts out in the middle of signing. But I needed it for my daughter's sleep over so didn't return it. Fun colors tho.
