Immediately compared it to my current bug net
I already had a bug net I was happy with. I purchased this bug net for 3 reasons - impossibly good price, lighter claimed weight, and I already owned some Foxelli daisy chain hammock suspension straps from a previous deal, and I was happy with their quality. After opening the package from Amazon, I removed the free included flashlight and the warranty card and the thank-you card, and weighed the bug net with its included ridgeline, in the attached stuff sack. My scale showed 15.0 ounces, which is even better than I had hoped. My current 11'6" bug net, when stuffed into its stuff sack with its included ridgeline, weighs over 20 ounces. I use 11' hammocks, with a ridgeline length of approximately 9'6", so this bug net is plenty long enough for me. In fact, it's going to be a little too long, and I will consider shortening its width if I am brave enough to alter it. There's no reason not to, as it will also take off some unnecessary weight. I know that my current 11'6" bug net is too long, so I laid them out together (see photo) with the Foxelli net on top of my current net. The Foxelli net is slightly wider horizontally, and slightly shorter vertically. My current bug net will sometimes droop and touch the ground if I don't hang the ridgeline high enough, and for simplification I'd rather not even use the included ridgeline and just use my hammock's structural ridgeline instead. This shorter height on the Foxelli net will hopefully help make that possible. I am NOT a fan of the attached stuff sack, and I hope I can take a seam ripper to it and disconnect it without negatively affecting the stitching on the bottom seam of the net. Leaving it attached will certainly cause it to touch the ground - note to Foxelli, stop doing that. The hanging hooks are quite a bit smaller/lighter than the hooks on my current net, and there are 2 fewer. I consider this a good design choice. The seven hooks of my current net are a bit overkill, and add unnecessary weight/bulk. The Foxelli hooks are more appropriate for the job at hand. Now, if I can simply use my hammock's structural ridgeline to support my bug net, I will remove the hooks for further weight savings. I will also remove the small loops of cordage attached to each of the four zipper pulls. The material seems to be slightly lighter in weight than that of my current bug net, but will still keep out the biting insects. It does lack the vertical stretch of the material of my current bug net - I really like the fact that my bug net will stretch vertically if I somehow bottom out while in my hammock; I feel like this will prevent damage/tears to the material. The Foxelli material lacks this vertical stretch - it doesn't seem to stretch much in either direction (horizontal or vertical). So I will have to be careful. Again, it is too wide for my current hammocks, and I will hang it lower than its intended use, so I don't believe there will be a problem. I will update this review after I have experienced hanging in it, but my initial impression is very favorable. It is better designed and lighter than my current net, and will likely be replacing it. The price was less than half of my current net, which makes this Foxelli net a no-brainer choice.

Great find
This was easy to use and to set up. Kept the bugs out but it also wasn't an especially buggy night. I do wish it had a pocket to keep glasses or a flashlight but for the price, this is a great product.

Where has this been all my life
I don’t usually write a review so fast after receiving a product but honestly I think I’m in love with this! I love hanging out in a hammock in my back yard, but I keep living in mosquito breeding grounds. I’ve tried a couple of different mosquito net solutions over the years and they were uniformly useless. This on the other hand was extremely easy to set up, the material was actually a little sturdier than expected after some of the reviews I read, and the zippers move like a dream (part of what made me choose this brand were the excellent zipper reviews). As you can see from the pic, I’ve got a larger size hammock rather than a fancy camping one, but it fits great - and the extra material at the sides keep any of my skin from touching the netting so the bugs won’t get me! Honestly I was a little nervous about spending more money on a mosquito net right after I’d just bought an inferior one that was useless, but I’m very glad I did. The mesh in this is very fine, I’m not worried about anything coming in. The ridge line and hooks worked great, me and my chihuahua are enjoying the warm spring day as I’m typing! I’ll update the review if I think of anything else, but figured I’d post a pic of what it looks like from the inside with a larger size hammock. Definitely recommend even if you just want to chill in your backyard and not get eaten alive!

Good Quality and Price
I was heartbroken when I tore the sewn-in netting on my Grand Trunk hammock, having babied it for years, and bought this well after. Having used it, I find that it's much handier than having an attached net. It's easier to clip and adjust on a ridge line, and can be used with my bivvy bag or alone as well. It doesn't restrict how wide I want to get the hammock and is no more difficult to exit than the other. A bit of permeithrin on it keeps the Southern bugs away.

Hammock bug net for deck
Despite that I bought it to use on my deck, and have no real great way to attach it. I improvised. The tent screen is great with keeping the bugs out. Since we have not been able to go camping for awhile. This solution works great to hammock camp at home . I had rigged something to hold up the netting.
