I got a 93 GMC about the headlights of tail lights and all from my old truck and it looks better in my truck because I can even see better with the new ones

I am a big believer in the quality of OEM parts and very skeptical of the aftermarket. This is born out of decades of experience. When I finally gave up on yet again patching my original 1995 K3500 taillights, I went looking for replacements.My truck bed looks to be in reasonably good shape, but underneath it is a different story; rust. If the bed was as solid as it looks, I'd pay the big money for GM replacement taillights. Given the amount of cancerous rust, in a few years I will replace it with a flatbed. For the interim, I need a pair of taillights that are 'good enough', yet I do not want to buy junk. Checking the local boneyard proved a clean pair of factory taillights to be in the unicorn category; fable creature, impossible to find.After reading reviews, I swallowed my pride and ordered these taillights.The payoff of this review is boring: They appear to be of surprisingly good quality. They fit the bed well and plugged in with no problem. They light up and work. In hindsight I should had removed the circuit boards and inspected the bulbs, get a feel for the quality. This is something I typically do, but I had a narrow window to get them bolted on and did not want to wait several days for the next opportunity; I was rushed. My point is that I did not check the build quality or the type of bulbs used by disassembly and inspection.The new problem now is that the brand new taillights look great on the old truck...the contrast makes the aged paint really stand out. But they do look good. Hopefully they perform well over the next couple of years. If I run into problems I will report back.

Got rear ended on my pickup truck and lost one of the lights. They were both very old so buying the set worked out. The fit is excellent and look OEM. Note that they do not have any weather stripping like the OEM had. If your not worried about it then this is an excellent buy.

Purchased for my 95 Silverado ext. cab, Stepside. The factory assemblies still worked and looked fine but the mounting tabs that accept the screws had broken on the left side assembly at last bulb change and I was holding the assembly in with RTV. Bought these as replacements and keeping originals as spares. For the money, these have to be hard to beat. Honestly though, they aren't as heavy as the OEM's and the plastic isn't as thick. Still, a heck of a deal at $42 for BOTH sides including the boards and lamps. Installation was a bit tight for the left side assembly but it was the same for the OEM assembly on that side. As some other reviewers have mentioned, these assemblies don't fit perfectly flush with the outer bed wall. They are recessed in maybe just a 1/16". The OEM assemblies sat flush or just a hair shy. However, it's not something you notice unless you look for it. So, these aren't perfect. Not a perfect fit and not quite the build quality compared to the OEM's. And I doubt they will hold up for 20 years like the OEM's did. But, given the price these are great. They are good quality overall and look just like the OEM's. It's almost hard to knock off a star given the price and what you get for it but, again, they aren't perfection.

Installed it fine, it works. All that one could ever want in a tail light.
