Awesome signal strength!
I had been using an older indoor antenna with my Fire TV Recast and had been having a difficult time finding many stations and recording them. I live about 30 miles from a big city and had never had an easy time getting some channels, but now I couldn't get any channels and I thought my Recast had seen better days. I was sadly looking at alternative solutions to live recording, but, after consulting chatgpt :) I ordered this Mohu Leaf Antenna and wow. All my problems disappeared. The setup was very easy and I had great reception and more channels to choose from less than 15 minutes after hooking up the antenna. I am so glad I did this, because I really like my Recast and now it is performing even better than when I first got it several years ago. Excellent antenna!!

MOHU Leaf + 60 mile range INDOOR AMPLIFIED ANTENNA: Satisfactory, but imperfect performer
MOHU Leaf + 60 mile range INDOOR AMPLIFIED ANTENNA: Satisfactory, but imperfect performer... Pros Easy to install Seems more stable than 'rabbit ears' and other plate DTV antennas once fixed in a good position It can feed both a DTV and the FM Stereo Tuner of a HI-FI Stereo Receiver at once with an RF distributor Cons A little on the expensive side of the budget Still affected by radio interference, weather, bounced signals and windows orientation With 'rabbit ears' dipole antennas, you can usually receive lower frequency digital TV stations, but one of the problems you may confront is the constant reorienting of the dipoles and the occasional channel re-scanning to get the best reception for all your liked channels. To that effect, I gave a try to the MOHU Leaf + INDOOR AMPLIFIED ANTENNA. It was easy to install. And the simpler the installation layout, the better. The design of the antenna seems to be better for higher frequency digital TV stations than for lower frequency ones. In the beginning, I installed on a window with the lighter side looking out it to feed the the TV and the FM tuner of a High Fidelity Stereo receiver using a coax RF distributor (See included photos (c) 2022 by reviewer): FM Stereo reception was nice and most of the area's TV channels showed up and were stable, plus one or 2 new ones came up thanks to the amplifier, but not always. Two favorite TV channels with sub-channels #.1 to #.4 and #.1 to #.3 which operate on the lower side of the TV channel frequency spectrum in our neighborhood had the tendency of suddenly disappearing within hours of a channel scan, no matter were we located the antenna plate. I thought that the Internet WiFi router had something to do with this. WiFi routers are not the only culprits: you'll be surprised by the kinds of sources of radio frequency interference (RFI) you may be having at home unknowingly. Fortunately, they usually affect at most a couple DTV channels frequencies and when you move the TV antenna farther away from the offending RFI source or even remove the offending source, channels come back fine... if the antenna is well oriented and its amplifier works. In this case, moving the antenna plate farther from the router didn't work: those 2 channels disappeared again hours after. I went ahead and removed coax wire extensions, relocated the plate and scanned progressively: same issue. I ended up disconnecting the antenna from the coax RF distributor, connecting the antenna cable directly to the TV: still, inconsistent reception of the same aforementioned channels. Finally, per their FAQ page, I removed the amplifier, connected the antenna directly and scanned the TV once more: unable to get liked channels and scanned channels amount came down from 44 to 29. I called their technical support and the very helpful associate reviewed all steps I did and then suggested me to try placing the antenna in a southeast side window. The problem is that all the windows of my apartment point the other way. Well, I guess may I have to live with those channels being intermittent or else... The lesson: research your favorite channel frequencies and transmitter positions before ordering. I still believe that the MOHU Leaf + INDOOR AMPLIFIED ANTENNA has the potential to be a 5-star contender because it works fine with DTV channels in the upper side of the spectrum and if you have antenna positioning flexibility. But, for me, it's going to be 4 stars.

Cable length is wrong!
Antenna works. However, I needed a 16 foot cable for it to work. Description stated twice that it came with a 16 foot cable. Box came with a 12 foot cable which is too short for my room. Very disappointed!

A real Mohu, amp right at antenna, new version. works great
Mohu MH-110029 Leaf Plus. The "Plus" is the 60 mile version, the most powerful one I could find (not the 50 or 30 mile). This was the only seller of it I could find on Amazon in March 2020. This came in a real retail box and is a real Mohu. This is the latest version, and is as the picture shows with the built in amplifier right at the bottom by the coax connector (square area at bottom, the older versions have a triangle shaped area for the amp). We are 50 miles from Denver in the flatlands and got a great signal. Easy to use, put in window of travel trailer. This is the "original" American design and is better than ones that have the amp at the other end of the cable near the TV. (I'm a retired electrical engineer, worked as product designer at HP). The amp requires power, which it gets from the included power inserter at the other end of the included coax cable. It then sends it up the coax cable itself, so now extra wires needed. Even had a strong enough signal to switch to a longer 25 foot coax cable. The (included) tiny power inverter block then has a short USB cable that you plug into a USB source, either from the included USB adapter you plug into the wall AC power... OR plug into any USB powered source like the newer TVs have on the back. We bought a new 32" TV from Walmart for $120 that is a Roku TV, and like most new smart tv's it has a USB port on it, that provides the power. So cheap and amazingly simple!!!

Very impressive indoor antenna.
Wow! Can’t believe the great 4K reception we get over the air. Quit YouTube tv and bought a Tablo recorder and with my Mohu Leaf Plus I get all four major networks and 96 other stations that I’ve got to investigate. I live within 30 miles of the network transmitters so free tv is here again. With the tablo I can pause, rewind, fast forward and even record programs received by my Mohu Leaf Plus indoor antenna. Only downside to the tablo is it doesn’t provide 4K but great 1080 HD. But the Mohu antenna alone provided great 4K but in my opinion, the ability to use the Tablo DVR features is a reasonable trade off. Especially when I was paying $80.00+ for YouTube with no 4K.
