I can't resist these peanuts!!!!!!! so crunchy and delicious, a hint of sweet, covering yummy peanuts, just a great item.

Good taste, but kind of bland. I spray mine with a little olive oil and spice them up with Tajin's.

Not made in Japan as claimed. Made in China. The taste was weak. Nuts were stale. I would have returned them immediately but Amazon won't allow that on food. I didn't know this. Threw out.

tasty - simple coated peanuts. This kind of thing is like Takis peanuts, but of course the heat is different. I would say these are a little over mild for the most part. Every so often you will get one that will melt your face a little, but a solid entry overall.

I ordered the Japanese Mix to go with a gift for a friend who loves Japanese snacks. I didn't realize the bag would be so big!! I ended up putting half of it in a different container for my friend and when she opened the present she asked "Do I eat the potpourri?". She then followed up to say it was delicious and her mom said it reminded her of a snack she ate in Japan when she was a kid. So the gift was a hit! And I still had plenty left to try for myself. The different colors don't really have different flavors, but each one has a slightly different texture. The cracker coating is slightly salty and satisfyingly crunchy, and the peanut inside is a bit sweet. Everyone in my house loves them (including the dog).

To be fair, there's nothing wrong with these, they're just not to my particular taste nor are they as good as the rice cracker covered peanuts I usually get at my local Asian market but they stopped stocking the really big bags of these so I decided to try this brand via Amazon. The peanuts have a kind of raw taste, as if they haven't been roasted, which I don't particularly like -- they taste more like sunflower seeds or unroasted soybeans. Also the rice cracker covering is more on the sweet side instead of a nice balance of salty and sweet. That having been said, the price is VERY reasonable and they're nice and crunchy so you don't have much to lose simply trying them. AND, something I hadn't considered until now, since I don't absolutely love them, I won't devour the bag in two minutes the way I usually do with my usual brand -- it's like having a built-in overindulgence guard.

These dang things are amazing!! I love them so much! Snacking on them while I work, perfect snack! Will buy again!

These just don't taste very good -- either the peanuts or the wasabi coating. Bland and tasteless. There are other alternatives on Amazon that are way better. I can't decide what to do with the remaining 95% of this 2lb bag because I really don't want to eat them.
