the ZiNG! thing: fearless FOOD AND WINE together

I have been in the Restaurant industry for years and this is a book I wish I could have had 20 years ago. It's simple yet informative design and content are perfect in getting the reader to understand the pairing of food and wine. I will use this as a training tool for all of my staff going forward and recommend it to all of my colleagues.

I became aware of the book when I attended an educational session by Patricia Rogers. The session time was limited and I wasn't able to learn everything I wanted to. So got the book so I could learn the rest - very interesting to learn that most of my wine / food choices were incorrect.

This is something I have wanted to learn for a while. This book makes good and wine pairing easy and accessible and really helps you understand the subtle flavors that can make a meal so amazing!

Love this book. The author makes serving wine and food so understandable. It is like being invited into a private club. A must read for food and wine lovers.

I was asked to review this book and I love this book. I immediately told two friends about it. They are both experts pairing wine and food and they loved this book as well. I have quite a collection of wine and I love to cook, but I seldom serve wine with food because I never knew what went together. This book walks you through step by step, the elements of food and the elements of wine and how/why to choose a good pairing. Excellent pics, made me hungry just reading the book. Well written Ms. Rogers. Can't wait for the hardcopy, will give as gifts. What a special treat!

A great little book to help you understand the chemistry behind food and wine pairing. Easy read and understand.

What a great little book! I'm not a wine expert but I love it! I really enjoyed reading the science in behind it and understanding it..so now I know why a wine I might love and treat myself to sometimes when I'm eating might disappoint so on the night. Cool and written in a lovely style
