Tattvalogy Indian Mango Butter, for Smooth and Radiant Skin (500g)

Initially, I was completely apprehensive about buying it, since I was buying it for the first time and also I didn't have a single idea about Shea butter. Moreover after reading so many negative reviews about this product I got more doubtful, but in a way after much second, third, fourth and so on... thoughts, I bought it. And today when I received it, even without tearing the plastic sheet cover, I could make out that the container was only half filled, anyways I opened it and found a really bad smell, as if there's castor oil all around me and all kinds nuts out there mixed and there oil taken out and mixed with it plus some vegetable oil as well and obviously the bottle was half filled.So to know if the product I've received is good or not, I literally read 3-4 articles about Natural Raw Unrefined Shea Butter and how can we check if it's the correct or perfect one or not.So this is what I got to know :• Shea butter does not go bad easily and does not have a chemical smell.• If a Shea butter does have a plastic-like or otherwise chemical type of odor, chances are it has been treated with some kind of deodorizer or otherwise refined—which is not good.• Shea butter will have a mild scent that is a bit earthy or nutty.• Shea butter will have an almost instant soothing, protective and anti inflammatory effect on the skin.(While everybody's skin is different, all skin types can benefit from regular high quality raw African Shea butter use. If yours doesn't, there's something not right with the Shea you've got. )Remember to pay attention to how your skin responds and that there is no chemical odor coming from your Shea butter.( All these are copied from one of the articles that I read, bcoz I'm a bit lazy to write so much 😉😉😉 )So far it's ok in it's in physical appearance, very soon I will use it for my diy work and maybe after that I can give a perfect review.Thanks for reading!!!

Not at all worth it,smells like engine oil really.Also it is very less in the box I have uploaded a picture of the same.

Not an expert to describe this product. i'm very new to shea butter, but i can say it smells raw but not strong though, smells like the mixture of vegetable oils like castor seed + sunflower seed + Palm oil ... can't say it correctly.. but it's in butter form only, melts soon on skin, getting absorbed so quickly into the skin. I like this light smell.. i'm gonna use this in my DIY lotion bars, and hair cream. will tell the result soon.Received product in good condition, package was good, price was quiet reasonable than other brands in Amazon, Thank you !

I had been meaning to buy Shea Butter for quite some time and finally got around to getting it.Shea Butter is used in most moisturizers which was why I wanted to try it on it's own. This is the raw and unrefined version which can be used to make your own blends.When I opened it, the seal popped on its own. I think that was because of air trapped in it. They do say on the lid that it is dense because it is raw so it reduces later which is why they use bigger container and I think that also leaves space for air to be trapped in it.This is my first time dealing with raw, undefined Shea butter so I wasn't sure about the smell. The scent is weirdly nutty and earthy and after some research I found out that is the sign of good quality raw Shea Butter so I am happy with the product.Used it and it makes my skin feel really soft and smooth. I would say it is value for money because you are getting a good quality organic ingredient.

* while I was not initially happy about the packaging and quality, I did end up using the shea butter on my extremely dry and cracked feet and hands. It works like magic. Honestly, it is a miracle for dry skin and hands, the only thing I have found that actually softens the skin. It has a raw, but not unpleasant smell. It also lasted a long time, which was unexpected. The butter is so thick and paste-like a little goes a long way.

This is the first ever Shea butter which I used,I like it for my lips the most because it is more moisturising than the lip balms I ever used,I don't like the smell a lot because it is not good,the consistency is thick and very hard to apply on body and it doesn't do anything for my dry itchy body skin,I also use it near my nose when it becomes dry and it is actually useful,so yeah I will buy it for my lips again and again as it is more affordable than the lip balms and gonna last me for longer and also a multi purpose product,I wish Shea butters smelled better but never mind it is a good ingredient for dry skin and lips,small quantity(for lips)is easy to melt and apply but huge quantity(body skin)is really tough to melt down so don't think you can easily apply on your body,just replace it with your lip balm if you can bear the bad smell otherwise don't buy
