When first opening this I thought they had made a mistake in the roasting and burnt it.It may be the darkest, most 'roasted' look & aroma coffee I have bought.After brewing, the coffee is so dark you can't see through it.Was expecting it to be very bitter. I was so, so wrong.Smooth, STRONG depth of flavour without a hint of bitterness, none at all.Beautiful coffee which I am currently using every day in my bulletproof cup for breakfast.If you're thinking of looking at this for bulletproof, seriously, give it a try.2 standard scoops of this put through an Aeropress or your preference of brewer,1tbsp C8 oil, 1tbsp Organic Ghee, 1tbsp Collagen powder, 1tbsp Dbl Cream to sweeten.Think that sounds like a lot of work? Depends what you want out of it.I've been doing that for a Month now. Not remotely hungry for 4-5 hours after this for breakfast andwithin 15 - 20 mins get a nicely energised mental clarity which gradually tapers away without anykind of 'crash' later. Having research a little about Mycotoxins after stumbling on a article about coffee production on line I then went on the search for a product and found this. The coffee comes in a nice little pouch and is no different to any other brand in texture (I really had no idea what to expect). It brews a lovely, strong coffee with none of the bitterness you get from some of the other brands on the high street. I make my coffee on a stove pot and drink it black and really like the flavour and the smell and having had 4 cups now since it arrived I can’t wait to brew some more. Not tired the lean caffeine 20 day challenge yet but I have started to read the guide and it may be the start to my 2018.Thoroughly recommended. As they say ‘you get what you pay for ‘ and this is worth the extra pennies over the supermarket offerings.

My first time trying out this coffee and I'm happy. My only warning is not to drink at 2pm like I did one day and was then up half the night! Best to drink decaf after 12:30 pm!!Loving Bullet proof style coffee.This is how I enjoy it:600 ml fresh coffee (2 heaped tablespoons of ground coffee in 600ml water)1.5 tablespoons grass fed organic ghee1.5 tablesppons of MCT82 tablespoons of Waitrose organic double cream1 tablespoon Acacia fibre powderHalf teaspoon organic cinnamon powder1 teaspoon of Navi organics tonic gold mushroom powder1 teaspoon Birch xylitol1 teaspoon of organic raw cacao powderShake of monk fruit powderLarge pinch of pink sea saltTotals around 550 calories and acts as a replacement for breakfast and sees me through without needing to eat at least 4 or 5 hours.The big benefit is this drink has next to no protein or carbs ... most of the calories are derived from fat, so your insulin isn't raised.And it's insulin that tells the body to store fat.I blend the above in a glass vacuum blender and wow, super rich and satisfying!Enjoy!

I found the coffee an encouraging shade of dark brown, ground finely enough for my espresso machine. Packaging was very good, airtight and easy to reseal.First brew I noticed had quite a metallic taste which I blamed on a new brand of cream I was trying out. When I put the coffee through a French press for a midday latte, I noticed the taste again. Sadly, the flavour has not grown on me, and although the caffeine delivery is indeed smoother than many other blends, I personally cannot get past that stainless steel taste.Will not be buying again.

I'm very happy to drink freeze dried instant coffee, usually I just need the caffeine fix. I started a Keto diet a little while ago and I've been having a lot of bulletproof coffees, but I thought I would treat myself and see what all the fuss was about with nicer coffees (let alone Mycotoxin free).wow. Yes. There is 100% a difference. It doesn't even taste like the instant coffee I buy, but in a good way. It's really hard for me to describe how it tastes, but it's just so rich and not bitter? I'm sure others will be able to describe it better but I've now been spoiled and I believe this might be the only coffee I drink from now on.I rarely write reviews, so if you're in two minds about whether to or not, I would say do what I did, go for the small bag, give it a go. I also bought my first cafetiere because of it too!

Familar with Central American coffees, organic, single estate, and this one is bitter, dry, dishwater.

Love this coffee. I just wish I could afford to buy more of it. I treat myself to one bag per month on Subscribe and Save. There's no bitter after taste and a really nice mouth feel overall. Excellent for Bulletproof Coffee and regular brewing. My friend found it too strong so I suggested using a little less grounds and to use the V90 dripper brew rather than the Aeropress method. She's now a convert too. The brewing method can make a huge difference, to flavour and strength, so just get experimenting.
