Great reverb at a budget price!!
This is a great reverb pedal! Behringer gets a bad rap but some of their pedals are exact copies of the leading brands. This is every bit as good as a Boss reverb. The plastic case is a concern but at this price I can but another and still be cheaper than a new Boss.

I Have No Idea What I am Doing!
I have no idea what I am doing. I have been playing guitar for close to 16 years but not consecutive years more like, year one repeated 16 times over. So I would call myself a sucky intermediate guitar player. You don't want to hear me Gig because I can't. I don't know any songs all the way through. I get the main riff down or any other part I like, then quit that song and move on to another one. What does that have to do with this guitar pedal? Well it sounds just fine to me and it works or at least I think it does. If it is supposed to sound like you are playing in the bathroom then yes it works great. Now if this guitar pedal was supposed to give me the skills of Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn then well it is a fail. I wanted to buy the pedal that makes me play and sound like David Gilmore but I could not find that one. So I am pretty sure if your reading this then you probably don't gig, are stuck in intermediate hell and only play for those whom you wish to punish. If your friends and family say things "like seriously dude learn something other than the A minor penatonic scale and two power chords, we are sick of it" then this is the right pedal for you. It has a knob and if you turn it it sounds like your playing in a bathroom. Turn it another way and it sounds like your playing in an air raid shelter with no one else around (they left because you suck just like me). Turn it even another way it sounds like your playing at Carnegie Hall except no one came to see you play. So if that is what reverb is supposed to do it works great and I think easy to use because I really have no idea what I am doing. Oh yes I bought the widgity gigity power supply thing with the pretty blue lights and it works great with that thing. I hate changing batteries.

Good unit, great value, two negatives
People complained about the blinking blue LED. On mine it’s orange so no problem. But, the unit draws 120 ma with a 9V input, and the LED blinks at about 7.2V. Trying to run the unit on a 9V alkaline battery should be only an emergency measure, since a 9V alkaline battery under that current drain will last 3 hours at best. So I ran mine on a power supply. The unit has the characteristic that if you power it off with the reverb ON, that when you power it up again the reverb will be ON, i.e. it does not reset to no reverb unless you press the pedal.I measured the smoothness of the reverb, both with the tone control at ‘high’ and ‘low’. The graphs show the results. Basically, HALL is the flattest (+/- 3dB) from 20 Hz to 18 KHz, followed by PLATE which has more high frequency roll off (flat to 10 KHz, down 6 dB at 18 KHz), followed by SPRING (flat to 2500Hz, down 12 dB at 18 KHz), all measured with flat white noise input and tone at high. The tone control at the low setting attenuates the highest frequencies by about 20 dB. In between is intermediate high frequency roll off.I also measured the phase between the two outputs. It varied randomly, being all phases over time with respect to each other. This is good!I also measured a 30 millisecond latency delay between the input and output signals. This corresponds to about a 1/64th note at 120 BPM (for a ¼ note). That BPM is a typical tempo for a normal song. So, if you have an excellent guitar, and excellent amp, and good ears then you might notice the delay between the start of the note and when the reverb starts. The reverb decay time at the short setting is about 0.3 second, and at the long setting is about1 second. See the graphs! So I give this unit 4 stars, deducting one star for the power supply draw and the 30 ms latency delay. But the price is very reasonable considering the performance, especially the flat reverb response in the HALL mode.

Great pedal for the price
I happened upon this pedal while looking at other brands of reverb pedals, and it was offered at a nice discount. It would be an excellent value at full price. It’s got all the classic reverb sounds you want or need and so far is quite quiet and does its job well. The sound man for my band came up to me and said how much he liked the added reverb on the guitar, and that it was a funky sound. I run this always on and haven’t had to make any major adjustments. If anything happened to this pedal I would replace it with the same thing.

Great price for beginners but sounds a bit cheap.
This is one of the first pedals I bought, after watching a lot of comparison videos on youtube, I concluded that the difference between this and higher priced pedals wasn't enough to warrant the extra money. Since then I have bought quite a few more, similarly low priced pedals from other brands and it's become apparent that this pedal is the weakest link in my effect chain. There's nothing particularly wrong with the DR600, it does what it's supposed to, but it sounds a bit cheap and plastic-y at times. I heard the difference in the comparison videos I mentioned earlier, but really didn't think it was that big of a deal until I spent a lot of time with it. While I don't regret my purchase, this will be the first pedal I replace with something better once I have a full set and I kind of wish I went with Donner's similarly priced reverb pedal instead, as the rest of their pedals have really blown me away.TL;DR: not a bad pedal but there may be better options out there for a similar price and this will be the first pedal I replace once I've got a full set.
