Looney Labs Fairy Tale Fluxx Card Game - Zany Adventures for All Ages

Love this game! Simple to play but it stays interesting. Family loves it too!

This has Been a huge hit for our family! It doesn’t have creepers like some of the other versions of fluxx, which my 8 year old daughter likes. (Creepers are cards that prevent you from winning and can be a big bummer if you get them. This version feels more equitable to my daughter). It is a great game for a family because it is interesting for the adults but kids (readers and above) love it too. It is also great for traveling. It is maybe just larger than a deck of cards, so I keep it in my purse to play while we are waiting at restaurants. And, I will note that my son likes playing too, so don’t let the theme prevent you from playing with boys, too!

My friend introduced me to Fluxx over Thanksgiving break, and I immediately knew I need to buy myself a deck. I decided on the Fairytale Fluxx because it is so cute and the style and artistry is awesome! There are no creepers, so it is an easier version of the game. I really enjoy it and it is fun to play- looking to buy different versions in the future!

This game is Fluxx, which is means it is chaotic and crazy! The rules are constantly changing and people are constantly adding and discarding their cards. If you like Fluxx, you'll like this. However.... There are better versions of Fluxx out there. We were hoping this would have more humor in it like Firefly Fluxx but this is strictly Fairy Tale Fluxx - No silly illustrations or jokes - it's more like a children's book in a card game. For example: get the prince and the princess together to win or hansel, gretel and the candy house. The art is fine, but a little boring. Look up Mary Engelbreit's other work to get an idea of what the art in the game is like.

We love this game! Games can be quick or take a while. It’s always changing! It’s a fun game to take with you and pull out when you need a fun, easy game!

I gave this game to my sister-in-law and she loved it!
