You can talk using app and person in front of camera can listen and even respond which you can hear on mobileNight vision: ultimate360 rotation: slow, manually controlled but works wellCovers: 90 degree angle at a given setting LtoR and therefore best suited at corner to reduce blind spots on left or right side of camera. Top to bottom about 100 degree at a given setting can be moved to about 170 degree manuallyMotion detection: perfectPerson detection: perfectFollow moving item: I didn't see that feature in herePicture quality: better, almost like mobileRecording: works well for video and still fotoZoom: digital zoom. That is why when zooming during recording is not actually recorded, rather normal view is recorded.Every 3 mins motion video of 9 sec is sent to mobile and retained for 6 days. So if device is stolen you have 9 sec recording backup.On 5000 mAH battery device runs for 8 hours. Means you can keep monitoring area without power for 8 hrs.Memory stick: 64GB works well. I prefer Samsung memory. Scandisk card gets locked after sometime and become useless. Don't blame camera for that.App: works well. All features great.AREA OF IMPROVEMENTA. When power goes off and comes back the device performs basic checks and rotate all directions for a minute. But the final position is slightly different from what was before power cut. So area near corners or sides may go into blindspot when power comes back. Some precision is required here from manufacturerB. The camera has 'motion detection' and 'person detection'. About 9 sec video is sent to mobile app as notification. But once the motion/person is detected then at least for next 3 mins no more notification sent to mobile. It means if there is a person movement with that 3 mins, the notification is not sent to mobile. Ofcourse you can see the entire video in playback mode. But if somehow motion sensing (caused by birds flying or tree movements or cat/dog movement) can be supressed and limit of 3 min is removed then we could have received ALL person detections from camera. Using the time, it is easy to check play back. This 3 mins limitation makes the camera useless in lift lobby where there are people coming and going in less than 3 mins.The camera otherwise is awesome!! :)I don't mind buying China products.I purchased 1 more after using for 2 weeks. Planning to purchase another next month.I think MI knows what customer wants. I wish MI makes doorbell with wifi and camera like Qubo. Thanks Amazon.

Great image quality 1080P, happy with it.. Well designed , looks and feels superior compared to others..Doesn't make any sounds while moving camera left/right or up/down while monitoring through the app.Easy & slightly tricky too at the same time to install, procedure to connect is easy but the app is funny.ther issue faced is that I couldn't share the camera through the a"pp share function" easily with my family so that any one could monitor when needed. It took a while to some how get it done and you also need to approve the rights for others to hear and speak through the camera.They need to fix this to make it perfect !!While monitoring it reconnects automatically if disconnected and has the time running on the upper left corner which indicates its actively running n connected,its quite tiney though but okay.Happy & disappointed..Happy with the quality from A to Z "Build/Image Quality" as well as the microphone & speaker are loud enough & the image quality is great too whether day or night.DISAPPOINTED - with the app !! Tooo confusing for the most simplest of things & though the image quality its great it lacks contrast in night mode if the camera is pointing down completely while placed on a hight then its own body reflects of the INFRARED creating a slight contrast issue so best is to install camera vertical on wall for quality image.Its a 5 star for me overall otherwise for me a big fan of MI products already own few WIFI Bulbs and Air Purifier which are awesome.

I thought of writing this review as this month it completed 3 years. It is working fine. Video is good, pan tilt is working fine. The only issue I have is when it gets disconnected from the network, it fails to reconnect back. You have to reboot the camera to get connected. Maybe it needs a firmware update. Since the camera is connected to UPS power, I have to shut down the UPS and mains supply for it to get connected.
