I put one of these in a 127 that I was restoring for a friend. The original shuttle was broken. It worked well and was tensioned correctly out of the packet.

Wasn't quite a perfect fit for our old 27K. I had to file & polish the pointed end to make it fit. After the small fitment issue was corrected, this worked perfectly.

I have a Singer Sphinx treadle machine from 1902. These bobbins work fine, even when used with the original shuttle. However this shuttle does not fit. It is ALMOST an exact replica, but it is not. The slight difference is enough for it not to be able to fit and therefore is useless. Very disappointed.

Used on a late 1800's Singer treadle sewing machine. This shuttle case fits like an original.

I had to look up YouTube videos on how to load the bobbin into the shuttle and how the shuttle is supposed to be placed in the carriage, but once I understood how it was all supposed to work, it worked perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

The shuttle quite simply does not work. It will not thread correctly. It is a complex shape and the makers have not got it right. Do not buy. Similarly, the bobbins MUST have pointed ends to the central spindle to fit into the bobbin loading mechanism on the machine. These bobbins have cylindrical ends and simply do not fit and so are useless unless filed down, which is a bore, and why should we have to correct shoddy workmanship even if it did cost only a few pennies? I am heartily sick of buying junk from China. I would rather pay more for something that works than throw money down the drain with added irritation of then having to wait weeks for delivery. Do not buy these pieces.
