I'll start off by saying that for the $$ I ended up paying, these will be a nice set of spare lights. I bought a "used-like new" set of lights for $19.95. When they arrived, one light lens was certainly not "like new". A quick call to Amazon customer service resulted in a arrangement that benefited both of us. Now on to the lights. They are actually quite a compact light. Smaller than I expected. Lightweight, yet seem sufficiently stout. Easy to install and wire up. The beam pattern is a very tight spot light. Very little residual flood pattern. But, the spot beam loses its effectiveness in too short of distance. I wonder what the actual wattage of these lights are? They are quite visible in the daylight, but the beam is not very useful to me for my application. My LED headlights actually over power them. Now, on a non headlight equipped machine, they are likely much more useful. I have a different set of lights on the way, but I will still keep these.

I installed them on my custom steel bumper on my Prado. The built quality looks good. Also the lens pattern looks unique. The light is very bright.

I put these on my BMW and directed the spotlight down to the painted lines on streets. Because when oncoming cars pass by they totally blind me from seeing where my lane is located. These new spotlights with their narrow beam of light work perfect in illuminating these road marker lines and are so narrow a beam that they do not even illuminate oncoming cars and do not blind these oncoming cars at all. In fact I'm buying 2 more sets for my other BMW and my MG Midget 4x4...

Installed on a youth ATV with a switch and are plenty bright enough to ride at night.
