A+ fountain pen
Pen's build quality is superb. When paired with a good ink (Waterman, Parker Quink), it really shines through. The writing experience is A+. The nib and feed are easy to disassemble. Cleaning is a breeze. The converter situation is a bit of a shame, really. It's plastic barrel has a metal lining on the inside. It prevents the pen from being eyedroppered. And it also prevents other brand standard international converter to fit in the barrel. So get a Faber Castell converter, which are also well made. Overall, a really good fountain pen.

Decent pen, depends on individual preferences
It feels substantial to hold, considering it is plastic it has heft. Writes quite well but not buttery smooth, if you like that. Offers some resistance. Not bad at all. Depends on individual preferences. Does not come with converter, you have to get that separately. Update: After using for some days, I quite like the pen. In fact I find "the resistance" the nib offers to be quite good. I think I will be using this pen a lot.

Worst packaging and quality
Looks are good. Grip is also fine. As far as writing part is concerned, there is a problem. The ink seems dried and is not giving a smooth writing experience, which is least expected as the price of pen is Rs 553/- and with such high price, quality should be the best. Now coming on to the packaging. It is the worst. I initially ordered this product and received it in completely bad condition. After this, I asked for a replacement after duly endorsing the issues. However, to much of my disappointment, I once again received the product in a much worse condition. Mind you this is a German product. Even the cheapest of the product will have a better packaging and delivery.

Great design, but poor writer!
Having used the Basic and Loom fountain pens before, I had very high expectations of this entry level fountain from Faber-Castell, which is specifically targeted at college-going youth. The build quality, fit & finish, and balance of the pen is very good, and it feels a lot more substantial in the hand when compared to say the Lamy Safari, the body being made of ABS plastic. Also, the etched fingerprint pattern is done really well, and looks really cool. However, writing performance of the pen is very poor compared to equivalent entry level pens like the Pilot Metropolitan or the Schneider Base. Ink flow doesn't seem to be adequate, and the black coated nib is nowhere as smooth as the regular steel nibs that come on pens like the Basic (Essentio) or the Loom. The nib is "grippy" and offers some resistance, and does not glide over paper like good quality steeel nibs do. Also, the Medium nib on this pen is "finer" that most European nibs found on other German pens like the Lamy or the Schneider. While the nib is not scratchy, it can't be called a smooth writer at all. Also, the pen seems to be an ink guzzler despite being such a weak writer. Seems like the feed section holds a very large volume of ink on its own, and I found the short international cartridges running out rather quickly - even without extensive writing. Moreover, it is a shame that Faber-Castell does not include a converter with this pen, and a propreitary Faber-Castell converter has to be bought separately to use with this pen. Given how reknowned Faber-Castell is for making probably the best steel nibs in the industry, I was very disappointed with the writing quality of this pen. At this price point, there is the extremely solid and smooth Schneider Base fountain pen, which is a far more reliable and smoother pen to write with. It may not have the "cool" factor associated with this pen, but is a far superior writing instrument on the whole.

Great Pen
The pen looked exactly as the picture shows. It's a really nice fountain pen, but the only problem that I did have with the Shopkeeper is that along with the pen the cartage that came was Empty. I mean for even checking whether the pen is working or not. I had to go to the market to buy ink. That was really cheap from the shopkeepers. Other than that, the pen is absolutely of what I thought it would be.

Pricey plastic pen
The pen has a very cheap built. Bigger problem is very poor ink flow which defies the very purpose of fountain pen. I have 75 fountain pens and none of them have such poor flow that it cannot be used for writing. The tilted blackened nib doesn't help. I am not sure if this is common for all faber castell pen but this one is not recommended et all. Not trying anything more from the brand.
