I enjoy vegetable beef soup and was excited to give this protein recipe a try. I'm really picky about protein soups. Chicken noodle and cream of chicken are my favorite flavors within these brands and I wanted a little more flavor variety in my options. I don't think that it tasted much like its namesake, but it's good. It's really like the chicken noodle recipe but made with beef broth instead. I'm pretty sure that the pasta and seasonings are the same in both. Regardless, it is tasty and gives me another choice with my protein soups, so I will continue to buy this flavor.

Taste is OK for the "beef", I initially liked the "chicken" but after going through a few packs I'm not really liking it. While reading the ingredients I was looking for things that I can't have and didn't notice that there isn't any actual beef or chicken in theses soups until I read the ingredients again. For what amounts to a plant based broth the price should be a lot less, will not be purchasing again.

I would have loved to try this soup as I eat these for lunch every day, but when I opened the box it was full of powder. Each packet was opened through the back seam. It appears that there was a manufacturing defect and they weren't sealed. Every single one was opened and spilled out in the box. Very disappointed since they are so expensive.

The box shows there should be 7 pouches in it but there were only 6 pouches.
