Q: If we wanted to use a sleeve in the concrete to insert the pole into, what size sleeve would we need to get?

The use of a sleeve is not recommended.

Q: What kind of concrete do you use?

We used the concrete that dries in 30 minutes and it worked great. We just poured a bag of concrete in the hole, added water and stirred, and then added the next bag. Our hole may have been a little large but we used 13 bags.

Q: How thick is the acrylic?

Thick like a brick or like a woman 35 lbs over her normal body weight wearing a corduroy pant per se… #LoL #Friction #BMI #PleatedPant

Q: I have an existing 3 inch diameter pole in the ground. can the silverback nxt mounting mechanism be adapted to allow use of the existing pole?

That's what I did but, my existing pole was 4 inch diameter. Had to modify some of the hardare. Three inch pole should work great. Love the finished setup and so do my grandsons.
