These pans last forever.
I have had a set of these pans since 1995 and they are still going strong. Easy to cook with reach very very high temperatures, which are great for steaks. Once heated they remain very hot for a long while enabling you to turn off the heat and allow the food to keep cooking saving you Gas/ Electricity.Great value and you will never need another cooking set as long as you look after them. If they go rusty, then just heat them up and with a bbq scourer running under hot water."Season" the pans as in the instructions or look on " Youtube " for help.

Great Value - Excellent Pans!
I simply cannot understand how anyone could be negative about these pans, they are totally fine. They arrive pre-seasoned but I chose to ignore that. I washed the pans with clean, hot water. Dried them thoroughly, then applied a very small coating of oil to the surface. I cannot stress enough that only a small amount is needed for this. The best thing is to put oil into the pan and wipe it around with a clean cloth. Remove as much as you can. Then remove some more. It looks as if there is no oil in the pan. Now I put the pan onto a medium/high heat and watched it. It will smoke but that's ok. When it stops smoking, it is done. Let it cool down and it is seasoned.Tip: for eggs, use butter to ensure a non-stick fried egg.

Sturdy pans for everyday cooking!
I've used these pans for many times now, they are so sturdy and easy to store. It is like one time investment when it comes to durability and use. The only thing is, if you don't have enough time, especially while making pan cakes, dosa, pudla etc. then you may need a second thought on using them.Seasoning your cast iron pans is extremely important. I most use them on enclosed ceramic hobs, before first use, make sure you wash them properly. Just after washing, don't let them rest for drying, it can easily rust them. It is better, if you wipe and heat them enough till you see the smoke rising, then let it cool down a bit, apply some oil and spread it with a towel, then it it again at smoking point for nearly 15 minutes! And you're ready to go!While in hurry, make sure you don't spread the pancake, pudla or dosa on entire available surface, but try to make them small so rhat you can easily flip them when needed. After using it, let it cool down, wash and reapeat the seasoning step, then store it where it doesn't get dust particles.

Great value.
The skillets come well packaged and are of good quality, They have went up in price (twice) since I purchased them which is good for me, as It means I got a bargain but bad for you guys who are still yet to purchase. at the current price I don't think any other vender is offering a better price on 3 skillets so it's still a bargain, They are heavy not overall bearing but not for the weaker species among us. As for the rusting that is not a reflection on the product but more so on the owner do your seasoning and look after them and these things will be past down to your children when you are gone.

Love These Pans!
I'd been hankering on cast iron pans for some time and these seemed ideal, not wanting to spend a fortune until I knew I liked them. I've read reviews about food sticking to the pan, but I did some research and found that this is due to under seasoning of the pan. It makes sense to do some research (youtube and google are your friends) when you're about to try something brand new like cast iron cooking for the first time.I bought flax seed oil as this chemically gives the best results on cast iron. I went through the seasoning process five times then tried the largest pan out for the first time. I cooked an omelette and it cooked perfectly. I rinsed it out, dried with a dish towel, dried again with paper towels to make sure there was no moisture present, then stored the pans with paper towels in between to absorb any potential moisture. One brilliant youtuber I found is Cowboy Kent Rollins - he has years of experience cooking with skillets. There are lots of other channels about cast iron skillet care and cooking so it's just a matter of finding one you resonate with.I love my pans and despite the price I think that giving a proper, decent seasoning and some uncomplicated after cooking/cleaning care will mean that I have these pans for years to come.

Not great quality
Mid size one cracked randomly while on stove. Not great quality but it’s cheap so can’t complain much. Still have two left and they do the job.

Really nice pans that can go into the oven or under the grill.
Six months in and I love these pans. Honey, egg, nothing takes more than a light washing-up brush to bring them up clean. You can throw anything in them and cook anywhere. Joints in the oven, scrambled egg on the hob, pancakes, Spanish omelette under the grill, dry frying...===='seem to heat up PDQ. Very even heat, even on the smallest ring.Jury's still out on non-stickI'm being pretty careful not to do anything in it too sticky such as egg or honey, until I've seasoned it a bit.I'm taking seasoning to be the process of using it but not scouring it for a while, washing-up brush at most, then drying it pretty well and leaving it out.
