Must have if you love card games
One of the best games I’ve ever played. Love it as a solo adventure more than with a partner though. Nice art, large size cards, Very challenging !!! I return to it every now and then, never put away on the far shelf of my game storage unit.

Gret hard game!
We love this game, each time out is a different expedition and this expansion really adds to the game. it has great new features and game cards to make it both easier and harder depending on what combination you choose to go with. a must have if you enjoy this game!

Great Adventure Game, but a Bit Pricey
I recently played The Lost Expedition by Osprey Games, and overall, it’s a fantastic and challenging board game experience. Here’s my detailed review: What I Like: • Fun and Engaging Gameplay: The game captures the feeling of a tense expedition perfectly. Every decision feels important, and the balance between surviving and progressing through the jungle is really well designed. • Solo and Cooperative Modes: I love that you can play it solo or cooperatively. Both modes work very well, and the solo experience especially feels rewarding and strategic. • Beautiful Artwork: The artwork is absolutely stunning — it really brings the theme to life. The bold, comic-book style fits the sense of adventure and danger perfectly. • Challenging but Fair: The game is tough, but not unfair. Every run feels different based on the cards you draw, and it really makes you think carefully about how to manage your expedition members and resources. • Quick Set-Up and Play: It’s not overly complicated to set up or learn, making it a great choice when you want something strategic but not too long or complex. What I Dislike: • Price: The main drawback is the price. For what you get — mainly cards and tokens — it feels a — especially considering there aren’t a lot of components in the box. While the quality of the artwork and gameplay are high, it still feels like you’re paying a premium for a relatively compact game. • Replayability Limits: Although the game is fun and challenging, after several plays you might start to see similar strategies emerging. It could benefit from a small expansion or a few extra cards to add even more variety over time. Value for Money: The Lost Expedition delivers a strong, thematic experience and offers a lot of fun, particularly for solo players and cooperative gaming groups. However, the high price compared to the amount of content might make it feel less justified for some buyers, especially if you’re used to bigger games with lots of components. Conclusion: Overall, I really enjoy The Lost Expedition. It’s beautifully designed, cleverly constructed, and offers a thrilling survival experience in every game session. Despite its higher price point and the potential for some repetition after many plays, the challenge and atmosphere make it a rewarding addition to my board game collection. It’s a must-try for fans of solo and cooperative adventures. Would I buy it again? Yes, but ideally on sale!

Great for solo and co-op playing
This is the only game I've played where in solo mode you don't have to set up an AI character to play against, so for that reason alone it is great. It's really fun to play co-op yet, and as such I've never got around to playing head to head yet. I play it so much I've just bought the expansion - a really fun game

The Expedition Presses Ever Onwards
Another beautifully crafted product from Osprey Games. As with all of their recent gaming products, and the basic set which this expands, this is superlatively presented with excellent artwork and packaging. Each of the mini-expansions contained within will add something interesting, challenging and suprising to the base set of The Lost Expedition.

Present idea
Item looks good, haven't opened it yet as it is for a present.

If I were buying a can of beans, I would expect the lid of the cans to have to be prized open. Not so with an expansion to a card game. However, that was the case of the edition of the Fountain of Youth I received. It looks like great content to add to the game, but I was not happy with the box.

Adds to the base game which I liked by itself.
