Accusize Industrial Tools Dial Indicator is Made to Standard Dimensions
This indicator is made to dimensions that work with stem clamps and standard contact tips. Specifically, the stem diameter is 0.375 inches which makes it compatible with most stem clamping holding fixtures. Also, the threads for the contact tip are 4-48 which is standard size. This was not the case with the first digital indicator (another brand, returned) I bought which was under size on the stem diameter and the contact tip threads were metric. It would not work with my fixture, so be sure the indicator you buy will work in your application.

Very accurate
Compared to a Mitutoyo, it was spot on the same reading. Would recommend for the garage mechanic

Bezel needs work
Not bad for the price. The bezel is extremely tight, so tight it makes it almost unusable. I found instructions in the reviews of a WEN Indicator on how to disassemble and loosen the bezel. Made a huge difference.

My first dial indicator
I bought this based on its reviews. Hopefully it's as accurate as it feels. I have no way to tell

Very good quality.
I got this to replace a cheap .0005 indicator on a dial bore gauge set. Works more than perfect in .0001. I use them as a machinist daily. The quality is very good, with all brass gears inside. Repeats well and is accurate.

Perfect for using on a lathe
Bought this to keep track of my saddle movement on my lathe as the dial is in .01" and I needed .001" which this does. It sticks to the ways of my lathe great, even on a limited area. Magnet is strong, but you can still blow the chips off the magnet with an air hose. I will never run my lathe without one of these now.

Get one!
Great condition, checking it against other dial indicators suggests it’s accurate.

I broke it within 10 seconds!
It has a little brass piece that's pressed into the plastic back of the housing. It might be 13mm diameter, and it only engages about 2mm of depth. I placed it on the bed of my mill, then when I went to remove it, I pulled that little brass insert out quickly. It took very little effort.I bought it to use it, and I needed it, no matter how disappointing it might be. I scuffed the surfaces and epoxied the little brass insert into the back. I'm more careful with it, mainly because this is such a weak point and magnet is quite strong! For the price, I expected more. I won't return it since I've messed with it.I still can't say if it's accurate or not since I haven't had much of a chance to use it. It was waiting for the glue to dry when I needed it most.
