The fourth in a series of six special stamp issues celebrating the Monarchy through the Ages. This issue features The Houses of Stuart and includes portraits of some of our most famous monarchs. In 1603 when the last of the Tudors, Queen Elizabeth I died. This Led to the union of the crowns making James VI of Scotland also King James I of England, the only Monarch to warrant two stamps in the Kings and Queens series.
