Really good looking watch. Belies the low cost. Every part of it looks the business. Larger face than most watches. Easy to set and simple instructions included. Nice tin for gifting purposes. Accuracy is decent enough. Japanese digital movement, so no reason for it not to be. Only gripe is the analogue face and digital readout slip out of sync by a few seconds over a week. All depends how desperate you are to have a nuclear watch accurate to Pieco-seconds.Updated. Bought the 'white face ' normal size dial version too as I was impressed with the black large face original. Obviously not white, it's silver (but for anyone who cannot tell the difference I will confirm it isn't white). Just as nice as the original purchase, same price as before and similar attributes.1/11/20. Bought another Spotalen. Getting a bit habit forming, but why not? They are really great value, and do the job. If I was to be vaguely critical, the silicon wrist strap may cause skin irritation if worn for a long time as opposed to stainless steel or leather. Doesn't bother me, but be aware if you have any allergies.18/6/21. Bought another black one. This time the standard face size. Otherwise identical and still ridiculous value. Really don't need it, but Hell, why not?

I was expecting a fairly cheap looking watch for the price paid, but I am amazed at what I have received.This watch came in a tin. which meant that the chances of damage in transit was minimal. The watch is much larger than I had anticipated, but that said, this is an absolutely super watch for the price which I paid. The quality is excellent, and although a bit on the heavy side (only down to the quality of the materials from which it is made) looks super on my wrist and keeps excellent time. The only (small) complaint I have is that the instructions are very small (only to be considered as they came in the tin with the watch). That said, these instructions were easy to follow, and I had no issues in setting all of the functions. I am extremely satisfied with this product, and would certainly recommend this watch to any would be buyers.

First impressions are always important and my first impressions of this watch on opening the box were totally positive. It looks and feels like quality item, although was a bit bigger that I expected. When I showed it to my father for the first time the first thing he said was `thats an expensive watch' and was surprised at the price. So top marks all round so far.Having said that I do think the day and date windows are rather small and can get hidden by the hands. A small detail but in certain situations rather irritating.But apart from that there is little to criticise. The strap is sturdy and well made as is the watch itself. I would not hesitate to recommend this watch to someone. Just the small window issue depriving it of the full five stars. If I could give 4.5 stars I would.

This was a gift for my father as he doesn't like wearing his nice watches at work. Due to the type of work he's in he needs a certain type of watch this fitted all the boxes and was easy to use ( he says ) .Good value , great quality would recommend.( feels very well made)

Ok dainty is not a word you would use to describe this watch, it's big. There it is in the photo compared to my regular watch. My regular watch cost just under £200 so wearing it for every day use was resulting in small scratches so I bought this Talen watch as a throw away cheapo. Amazon advertised it for £21 but after viewing it a few times they cast the hook for £17.50 inc pp and I bit. Ordered it Saturday night and it arrived Monday.The watch itself is quite a good looking watch but a bit bulky, even so it wouldn't look out of place even when wearing a suit.The instructions for setting up are generic to digital watches but easy enough to understand.The light only illuminates the digital element of the watch but the read out is exceptionally clear.The silicone strap looks quality with chromed inserts, on a personal note I would've liked to have been able to replace it with a military style nylon strap but the strap forms an integral part of the watch.That being said the strap appears strong and firmly attached to the watch.The watch arrived in a smart presentation box with a see through lid. If you didn't tell them the price this would make an expensive looking present.Can't tell you how durable the watch is yet but it certainly looks the business.Marty

The watch itself looks great and seemed to work fairly well ,the setup of the watch is a bit tricky as the instruction are microscopic ,but with a bit of thought its not that hard ,now unfortunately I have had to return my watch as the pin holding the strap buckle would not stay in and was scratching my wrist ,also if you have a large wrist don't buy this watch ,I was quiet disappointed having to return it but was not given any other option.

A great watch (when I finally received it), looks more expensive than it cost, easy to set time/date etc & very pleased with it. However, when I first ordered this item the delivery day was set for Thursday so I accordingly booked the day off work. Then on late Wednesday afternoon/early evening (when it was too late to cancel my leave) they changed the delivery day to Friday! As I was at work on that day I re-scheduled the delivery day for the following Monday and booked another day off work. Despite staying in all day and the delivery tracking saying it was due for delivery on that day right up to 10.15pm it never arrived and I cancelled my order. I then re-ordered it for the Wednesday when I had to book yet another day off work. Absolutely appalling service by Amazon that cost me 3 days leave and I will be cancelling my Amazon Prime membership immediately.
