Brilliant!
Absolutely love this item. I have only had my Remoska for a couple of weeks and have used it every day so far! Extremely versatile. Can cook anything you would normal use an oven for but much more cheaply. Does perfect jacket and roast potatoes. I have done (at various times!) a whole chicken with roast potatoes, also have done banana bread, biscuits, stuffed mushrooms, casseroles etc. The lid is a little heavy, and gets hot. You have to have a space to put the lid (upside down!) when you remove it, to allow it to cool. It is easy to learn how to use, and how to adapt to your own cooking needs. Wish l had found it sooner.

Brilliant!!
I moved into an old farmhouse with an AGA which are clearly like marmite. As someone who works full time it just wasn’t practical of energy efficient. So I got the remoska as an interim measure while we decided what to do with the kitchen and if I’m honest it’s perfect for daily cooking for 2 people. It works a treat. Roasts, heats convenience meals, croissants, cakes, fish fingers and anything else you care to throw in. Is it worth buying? Yes. Is it worth buying if you already have an oven? Yes. Does it replace a conventional oven? Well so far it has!

Excellent product - a genuine Remoska.
This is a genuine Remoska Prima 4l cooker with a detachable lead (much safer in use than the old style fixed lead). It comes with a European plug, but a UK adapter is supplied, so it is ready to use out of the box. Lakeland seem to be getting out of selling Remoskas, so if you are in the UK and looking to buy a Remoska I can fully recommend this seller. I bought two from them!

Remoska
Good product for cooking. Great for jacket spuds, chicken portions, etc. Product finish however reflects the old Communist block standards. Punched out, with sharp edges still showing. Could do with thermostat. A bit over priced for what it is. A glorified saucepan.

What else do you need
I used to do all meals for 2 in a Remoska. Then we hosted 3 Ukrainians so we upgraded to the Grand. This cooks for 5 easily. We bought the original Remoska for use in our Motorhome. Then found we used it most of the time at home. Now we use it all of the time. Anything that you would normally grill or put in the oven, we use the Remoska. The Ukrainians like to cook. At first they would only use the oven or grill. Now they too use the Remoska all the time. I assume everyone knows the Remoska is easy to use and cheap to run ? That’s why we use it. The Grand Remoska, and the Sistema large microwave steamer, is all you need in a kitchen to cook for five. Thoroughly recommend them both.

Not the Remoska it used to be
Vastly overpriced - I’ve owned Remoska since they came out sold by Lakeland. I have made recommendations to all at the sailing club because I’d get comments on the wonderful cooking smells emanating from our yacht. I have the small we use on the boat and the grand at home. Once upon a time it came with a lifetime guarantee as all Lakeland goods did - so you get what you pay for. Now it’s a 3 year warranty which tells you it isn’t expected to last but you pay double/treble the price. The lid is dangerous as the heating element is in there and the Teflon coating goes blue then peels off with use. I initially bought my 85 year old grandma the small Remoska as the main oven became unsafe for her to use but we had to abandon it and think again but bless her she refuses to eat PING (Microwave) meals. It’s non stick and easy to clean, you can dishwash the cooking base. All in all it cooks everything you can cook in a regular oven but don’t expect it to be the quality of the old Remoska. It is now what I label a considered purchase” so buy by all means but don’t expect it to last.

Brilliant
I’ve had remoskas for many years. Over time they all suffer from the Teflon peeling off but they do still work. I use mine for baking bread, cakes, roasts etc etc. much cheaper to use than a big oven and I think much more versatile than an air fryer. They aren’t as cheap as an air fryer but they are much more portable and the overall wattage is low. There is also a great group online with recipe ideas. I love my remoska so much I keep a small one in my campervan.
