how do I adjust the gun to the amount I need my spray not working even after cleaning I had only used it once

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry that someone left such a mean reply when you were asking for help! I wish if someone doesn't like or understand another's question, they'd simply choose not to respond instead of using their time to make people feel badly:( Anyway, my name's Sam, and I'll do my best to understand and help if I can, though by now you may have either gotten the help you needed or given up. Since it sounds like you were just trying to learn how, I'll try to explain as easily as I can when I'm not talking to you.If you should try again, it looks to me as though:1. You need help understanding how to adjust the spray to be either stronger or lighter2. That perhaps your airbrush is clogged/or can't spray for other reasons.The 1st question I have to ask, is did you EVER get any paint to spray through this airbrush, before it stopped working? If paint never sprayed through it, it may not be clogged, and the problem may just be that this small compressor needs a thinner paint. If you still have it, the first thing I'd do is to very carefully pull out the needle, wipe it clean with acetone or alcohol, replace the needle (again carefully as the tip of the needle is delicate and if it's even a tiny bit bent it will ruin the spray) and try spraying ONLY rubbing alcohol (also called isopropyl alcohol)through the airbrush. If that sprays, hold it up to some paper, and if it has a nice soft spray, the airbrush is working fine, and your paint is too thick or air is too low. You may need an airbrush that can use a bigger needle (maybe a 0.5 mm) or may need a stronger compressor so you can turn it up which is called needing a higher PSI. The airbrush is only adjusted by pulling back the lever all the way, and then turning the air up stronger or down lower for more air. The only way to increase the paint coming out is with either more paint (pulling back the lever all the way) or more air to push it out (turning up the compressor or needing a stronger compressor) or thinning the paint if too thickHope you didn't give up and find the help you need. It may help to look at videos on you tube. They probably have lots of them.

Yes it works fine for mu and I use a iwata eclipse airbrush.

Can i use it for cakes

According to the 22nd & 23rd words under description where it says "Cake Decorating" right after tattooing teen further down in the same description it reads: "As an added bonus, included with this kit is a download link for these airbrushing guides: Top 8 Cake Airbrushing Tips, Guide to Airbrush Cake Decorating, Developing Basic Artistic Skills ..." as well as other places & other consumers that have bought and used this product for their cake decorating with lots of buyer beware negative reviews stating basically you get what you pay for & they're unable to decorate their cakes because this machine is cheap & doesn't work after the 1st time, 3rd time, 1 week etc & complaints that the machine over heats frequently and can't be used until it cools off which causes the nozzle to clog etc. I started but lost count how many times "Cake Decorating" was listed in this product so according to the seller yes it can be used for cake decorating but according to some users that bought this paint gun they are having lots of issues decorating cakes if they're able to at all.
