Frank: The Voice

El libro fue un bestseller de E.U., con justa razón, Kaplan te ‘cuenta’ la vida de Sinatra de una manera maravillosa. Extremadamente satisfecho con la compra del libro como tal. Me hubiera gustado que hubieran cuidado más el empaque de envío; si sólo lo ponen en una caja sin burbujas, el libro se va a golpear (sobre todo si es grande y pesado), sería preferible usar una bolsa plastificada.

unfortunately I bought the same book twice , I was duped by the fact it had a different title and a different ISBN number and thought it was the sequel.

Should be two volumes.Factualy accurate.Far to many unsubstansiated "quotes".Photos,nothing new here.The author offers very little evidence/proof to illustrate his opinions.

Last year I received "FRANK, THE MAKING OF A LEGEND" which I and others thought it the best book ever written about Sinatra. As it ended in 1954 it left room for at least two sequels and I was so looking forward to them. Then on Amazon I see a new book "FRANK. THE VOICE" so I send for it in great anticipation. After waiting a few weeks it arrives today and I find it's exactly the very same book. I wish now I had purcased it at a bookshop so I could have seen for myself it was the same. I feel as if I had been mugged! Anyone who hasn't read "MAKING OF A LEGEND" and is a Sinatra fan then this is a must! But for myself, disapointment isn't the half of it? It's sort of ruined Christmas for me this year.
