Amazing product must have for a dj or home mixing use
The speakers are great value for money. Amazing sound quality. Great clarity and the size will surprise you. It's small but the sound is amazing. Must buy if you DJ or mix music otherwise also a great product

Good in many roles!
Since my bedroom TV has an excellent display with the usual lousy speakers that all TVs have these days, I pressed this solution into service and it has worked brilliantly to elevate the sound part of the experience to acceptable levels, to match the excellent video quality. This isn't for Home theatre fans, but for those looking to elevate the sound quality of even YouTube music videos to small room HiFi standards. Movies play well too, with none of the tinny sounds that TV speakers put out. Set up is very simple for anyone to do and the build quality looks good.The only hitch is that in India this is still overpriced - the rest of the world gets this for about Rs 10-12000.Update after a week: I realised that the unit has a parallel usable socket for line in, allowing a standard mini jack stereo cable to also be wired to it, and to a cheap three year old Echo Dot that was lying unused at home. That addition transforms the cheap Echo to be the voice controlled front end for a very respectable music system as well, for small rooms. What also helps here is the signal sensing feature on the Pioneer that wakes it up as soon as something is said to the Echo with no other intervention. This kind of dual use makes the Pioneer value for money for sure; for a combined price that offers better quality at a lower price compared to any Echo solution. Plus, the wired Pioneers offer stereo play that is rock stable, unlike stereo paired Echo units that do the pairing wirelessly. Brilliant!

The head of the 3.5mm is stuck inside my laptops aux port. The cable quality is wack.

very high expectations, turned out to be sharp, harsh sound
After a lot of research and reviews, i bought the DM40 (non bluetooth) monitor speakers.Was really looking forward to a decent full sound. My Bose companion 3 finally gave way after 12 years.What transpired was pure disappointment.Shrill very high treble ( like cheap bluetooth speakers you can buy on road side), lack of depth and terrible bass. Mid bass was just about there. These are monitor speakers for feedback.Managed to return.
