Got this in yesterday from the Elves. After the kids went to bed I opened up the brand new PS4 slim I got them for Christmas. I left all the cables in the original bags so they wouldn't know it had been handled. Slipped out the old (new) PS4 with five screws. I hooked the new hard drive cable left over from old projects past up to the Barracuda. Ran the diagnostic software on my Windows 7 laptop. Formatted to NTFS first, then quickly reformatted to exFAT file system. Slapped in the new drive, replacing all five screws. Inserted a USB stick, held the power button down for 7 seconds until the second beep to go into safe mode. Initialized the new 2TB drive with a fresh install. Got booted up and downloading Free Games from PlaystationPlus and streamed some PlayststionNow to make sure it was all working. Didn't even load the title that came with it so the children will have something to do on Christmas Day. Finished working in the Toy Shop and replaced everything in the box so they won't even know I've locked everything down in parental settings. Made it to bed by midnight.

I purchased one of these and was unable to redeem the code, I tired for about a week with no luck, only error messages. So I initially gave the product a one star rating... However, the sellers reached out to me, advised me to contact PlayStation help and when that didn't work (seems there was a problem with the card/not the seller's fault), they were more than happy to replace the product at no added cost to me and it works. So I'm quite pleased with the product and customer service and will recommend it to others.

Switching to PlayStation+ was probably the second best thing I decided to do with my life! You get tons of games for free and discounts too! Not to mention your saves back up in the internet so if you get a new PS3 then you won't have to worry about redoing your game, such as Skyrim. It is certainly worth the money!When this product came in the mail it was all packaged up, when I opened it about half the card was bent. I don't know why but that really bothered me, even though all I wanted was the code.

Great product, bought it for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it. The only thing I don't like about the controller charging stations is that the light on them is blocked so I couldn't tell if it was actually charging or not. If for some reason the charger breaks, he would probably not realize that it didn't charge until he tries to use his controllers. Also, the joystick add-ons hinder the accessibility of the sticks. He says they don't move as easily during gameplay.

Also would like to add, if you decide to purchase the playstation plus, just go to your local walmart, or bestbuy, or even with your debit card and buy it. Cheaper and not an extra $10-20. This has got to be the worse experience I have had so far. When I put in the card information, it also says not available in the region. When a seller has something available for sale, what they need to do is also have the online code available for customers by region. It helps prevent those of us who get this issue to have their mistake corrected. Sorry but I want to cry from spending this much money and not being able to do anything. 🥺🥺😭😭

The comments made me skeptical because I had made this purchase before reading them... everyone saying it was a scam but I used it instead of gifting it because the card was flimsy BUT the code scratched off perfectly AND it came in working as well as correctly labeled as 12 months. Sucks for those who got ripped off but glad this wasn’t a waste of money
