DIY Dosa!
My wife and I love dosas, but neither of us can make them – we’d always gone to restaurants. When I found out about the DosaMaker, I had to try it.The first night we got the machine we made traditional dosas with batter from the Indian grocery store nearby and they were great. We cooked them for about 2.5 minutes and they were thin and crispy without needing much oil. The dosas we usually eat at restaurants are great but pretty heavy, so it’s nice that these were lighter - something I could eat everyday and not feel guilty. What’s great is it was less than 10 min after plugging in the machine that we were feasting – much faster and definitely cheaper than going to a restaurant. What’s also cool is the variety of non-traditional dosas you can make. I never knew you could make the kinds of dosas they have on the website and this is a big plus since it’ll be nice to try making both savory and sweet types. I'm an avid runner (3-4 times per week) and realizing that making my own dosas instead of eating bread or toast will definitely be a healthier option. The appliance is super easy to use, but you should watch the videos on their website before getting started. It's takes some practice to get used to the closing motion, but the process and prep was a lot like making pancakes. Also, the DosaMaker gives off some steam like the videos explained, so I put a cloth at the back while cooking. Clean-up was easy, just wiped the plates down. We're looking forward to trying out more recipes and eating dosas more often.

Super easy to use and minimal clean-up!
I tried the DosaMaker for the first time and it was a hit! I made paleo crepes with blueberries. The instruction manual was easy to follow (although there is an equally easy video on their website to watch as well). The DosaMaker heats up quickly and the crepes were made to perfection. The batter took about 3-4 minutes to make and the crepes were done in 1 minute and 15 seconds. After trying it the first time, I realized that there are a million things that you can make with the DosaMaker--it doesn't just have to be dosas. Keto and paleo recipes are super easy and cook really well in the DosaMaker. My husband and I try our best to eat healthy despite busy lifestyles, and this kitchen appliance will go to very good use. Also, the clean-up was very minimal...no scrubbing required as the two plates are non-stick surfaces. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a useful device for quick healthy cooking!

Teflon coating!
Bought this as a gift for my wife who really wanted it. The website says it has Granitec ceramic non-stick coating. However, when we got the product, it clearly shows a different coating was used from the one being advertised. And the one actually used is Corflon Ultra which is a PTFE-based Teflon. Umm, thanks but no thanks. We really wanted to like this product, but we will not be putting our health at risk by using any products made with Teflon coating. Please update your product info. It is misleading and false advertisement in its current form. It is NOT Granitec coating at all!

A must-have kitchen appliance
I hadn’t made or had crepes since high school cooking class, but I used to live next to a French bakery, and have wanted to try making them myself ever since. I attempted with a regular pan and the temperate wasn’t even, resulting in “crepes” that fell apart and the consistency was off, so I gave up for the time being. But, recently, I learned about dosas from a local Indian restaurant, and how they can be cooked on a DosaMaker; that’s where I searched Amazon for one and came across this little gem. The last week, I’ve used this gadget every.single.day, from traditional dosas, herbed crepes with chicken and avocado with a mint cilantro sauce, wraps, pancakes, and most recently, these breakfast and dessert crepes (pictured below). I love that the DosaMaker comes with everything you need - a mini spatula, oil spreader (BUT - you don’t even need oil because it’s totally non-stick), and also comes with a thorough instruction manual with links to their blog, where you can find recipe inspirations. The heat is evenly distributed, it warms up extremely fast, and the red and green lights alert you when it’s pre-heated and ready to go. Nothing comes close to my Vitamix as far as favorite electronics and kitchen gadgets, but this is officially tied for first place...far beyond making just a dosa, this appliance has a little kickstand that allows you to make pizzas, wraps, quesadillas, and so much more. Whether you’re just a home cook, a food blogger, or a professional, you need this in your kitchen!

The best dosa I have ever made!!
My husband’s favorite thing to eat is his moms dosa... she is famous for this dosa. I would have zero chance of making my mother in laws famous dosa. We decided to give the DosaMaker a try. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect BUT the dosa we made was AMAZINGGG!!! Super crispy and as good as my MIL’s (no offense Amma). It’s incredibly easy to use, after one or two tries I had it down! The videos online that explain how to use it and the different types of Dosa you can make were so helpful! I can’t say enough good things about this!!! Anyone who is a little intimidated by making Dosa, give this a try!!! I love it!!

Quick, Easy and Versatile
Wow! I was introduced to the DosaMaker by a friend and it is amazing. I was so excited the night we got it, I couldn’t wait to go to the store. So I ended up searching for a recipe we had ingredients for (cornmeal crepe) on their website and made some non-traditional dosas. I wasn’t sure if almond milk (we were out of milk) would work and it did! It was so easy and the 5 minutes while I prepped things, I watched a video on how to use the maker. I love how I didnt have to worry about spreading the batter evenly like you do for other machines, this one does it for you. We used the leftover batter the next morning to make an egg and cheese version. Clean up was super easy since it is non stick.I look forward to trying all the recipes on their site - traditional and non traditional. They look so good for meals or a snack!

No. Just no.
Broke after the first use. Then I realized you can just use a nonstick pan. So do not waste your money. And their return policy requires you to have have kept all the packaging.
