If you have boney thin fingers should you get the smaller size?

I bought the small gloves. They are not especially tight. I love these gloves. The size depends more on your finger length I am thinking. These are the right length for me. I could not have fit in an extra small. I have relatively long fingers but not a big hand. I hope this helps.
