Great value
Old phone was coming up to four years old and falling apart. Well out of contract, so SIM only. After a fair bit of time spent looking at various manufacturer's and models, I chose this Oukitel k8 on price, the strength of other reviews and a couple of favourable online tech reviews.Pros: Affordable, large bright screen, big 5000mah battery, dual SIM/expandable ROM, Simple standard android without bloatware, usable cameras, good looking (in my opinion!) and a fingerprint scanner.Cons: Unheard of brand so unlikely spares and accessories availability, heavy by comparison to premium brands, "only" 4gb of RAM, micro usb - no 'c' port, no fast or wireless charging.Very happy so far! Had to order a replacement nano SIM, but once installed everything synced straight away once sign in's were dealt with.I've been able to pair this phone with my fitness tracker/watch, and wireless action camera without issues. GPS works well, and 4G signal strength is great at one bar higher than the handset that this replaces in most locations I've tried so far.Don't expect a flagship phone at this price, because it certainly isn't one, however it's fine for everyday use with no apparent lag or oddities found so far. Build quality is surprisingly high, although time will tell. Camera's seem good enough, and YouTube, internet browsing and faceache etc are all smooth and trouble free. I don't use my phone for gaming, and I imagine that it would struggle?Great value.

A cheap smartphone
As good as any high end phone and i've had a few. It's a little heavier than your competitors but it has a large battery and you can get two days out of it with normal everyday usage. Screen i crisp. Phone itself is fast. Excellent for the price. As good as many that are three times as much.

Have to factory reset after 10 weeks
After ten weeks of use, my K8 has now booted to the Android Recovery screen. I guess I'll have to factory reset it.I bought it for the dual SIM capability, for which it is OK. Using it with two SIM cards means you can't fit an SD card. A factory reset therefore results in the loss of photos, text messages, call history, and any other personal data on the phone. The camera might be intrinsically OK but in practice won't always take good pictures. The phone is heavy and the touch screen isn't very sensitive so it's quite difficult to hold it steady and take a picture.

Chunky
I bought this phone for my wife and have spent this afternoon setting it up (installing apps, transferring address books & SMS message history) and I have to say, I really like it. The display is nice, the memory and storage is just what you need, and speed wise I've experienced no problems. It would be unrealistic to expect it to compete with the top end devices on the market from Apple & Samsung, but so far it has more than adequately coped with everything thrown at it.Okay, so its a bit of brick (in terms of size and weight), but I quite like the chunkiness of it. I also ordered the Custodia Flip Wallet Case, and it slots in to that real nicely. When I come around to replacing my Samsung Edge, I might seriously look at something like this phone for myself.

Great Battery
Got this for my wife. Works well, nice bright screen, very good battery life, camera OK but not great, Usability is good.Downsides are lack of NFC, therefor not able to use Google pay, rather heavy and a little thick. Everyone seems to blame the weight and thickness on the large battery bot my Lenovo P2 has a slightly higher capacity, lasts just as long and is slimmer and 2/3 the weight. However my wife does not use google pay and the phone is very well made, sturdy and great value for money.

A total waste of your money! Don't do it!
A very nice phone for the cost of it.Functions, looks and feels like a phone more than four times what it cost. The Android platform functions as it should and doesn't lag in any places I've seen as of yet.The battery life was slightly disappointing as given the size of it I was expecting a battery that would last me at least a whole day but I do probably get a days moderate use out of it before it requires charging. The camera, although I don't use my camera much, seems acceptable although I think this feature isn't quite as good as it is advertised in terms of quality of image, detail and image focus. All things considered I feel that given that this phone was purchased for under £150 new, I struggle to make any serious complaints and it remains extremely good value for money.Anyone looking for a champagne phone on a lemonade budget should look no further!UPDATE: The phone completely stopped switching on and charging after owning it for around 6 weeks. A shame too as I did like the phone. Amazon kindly agreed to accept it back and issue a refund. Complete waste of money! Don't buy!

oukitel k8
oukitel smartphoneIn fact, this is not a very famous brand, I just tried it, but it surprised me. First of all, the screen is great, especially when watching the video. And it's the first time i use a phone with a 5000 mAh battery, which can support me for 2 days. It satisfied all my needs for smartphone by this normal price. Great value!

Heavy
This phone is a case of what you get what you pay for. Heavy and bulky, but no exceptional battery life, I can just about get two days of use with one charge, with normal use. (My third Android phone) Fairly basic bundled software, and no haptic feedback. Not too quick either.
