Looks simple and does the function of what it produced for. Easily switches mice and keyboard between 2 laptops. To add more devices you can insert a USB hub and use that to connect to this device. Only problem I found is External HardDisk attached to USB hub is not detected in the laptops. But that;s not the problem of this device since I found the same problem if I insert the same USB hub to the laptop directly.

I have a LG UW monitor, and a HP wireless keyboard/mouse. I have my personal and work laptop to be connected to the monitor and have the single wireless keyboard/mouse shared. LG comes with a software called dual screen controller which actually does that.However, this software requires some ports to be open, and my work computer has group policies that do not allow the ports to be open.Given this problem, I bought this device to use a single wireless mouse/keyboard for my laptops. And this does the job perfectly. The device seems to be solidly built and it works like a charm. The device (on the face of it) also looks very durable.It would have been helpful, if the device also came with the necessary cables. However for the price. I know it is too much to expect.The device is well priced and is recommended.

I use this to switch between systems with the Logitech unifying receiver for a keyboard and mouse.In these work from home days schedules run in parallel and switching between official and non official work becomes necessary.What I liked:1.) Does the job as it is just a metal box enclosing a switch mechanism.2.) Smaller than I expected.What I did not like:1.) It's completely metal and the edges are sharp. Could cause scratches.2.) No rubber pads for grip.Keep in mind to buy two cables too. USB A male to USB B male.

Works better done your job but need to purchase wires seperately those cost equal to this product so understand you will spending twice.

First of all I'm happy that it's working. But the quality is not good. While inserting the cable one of the port goes inside a little, so I need to insert it more carefully. I don't wanna replace it since I don't remove the cable often. But anyways, it's working.

I used to have 2 seperate keyboards, 2 mouses on my table to use both my desktop and laptop. With this device there is only one keyboard, one mouse (both connected to usb hub), the output of usb hub connected as input to this box.Now all at a push of a button, I can switch between my laptop and desktop seamlessly. Workspace looks clean and neat.

Pretty good accessory for work-places . It helps you connect to printers to a single source. Remember, you cannot use both the printers at the same time . , ie, if you press switch A , then switch b will automatically be turned off. You’ll have to do this manually whenever you want to use either of the printers. Rest, the build quality is good.

Though the product is mainly advertised for sharing a printer, I use it for sharing a keyboard, a mouse, speakers and other USB peripherals. The peripherals are connected to a USB hub. The hub is connected to the USB switch. The switch is connected to two laptops. Though unrelated to this product, I use an HDMI switcher to switch displays. That's my configuration and it works perfectly fine.
