desertcart.com: MIKUNI ROUNDSLIDE CARB VM20 VM20-273 Review: Carburertor worked great on Yamaha Moto 4 - I used this carburetor as a replacement for a Yamaha Moto 4 - 200 cc. The jetting seemed to be spot on for my engine and location (I'm at about 600 ft in the pacific northwest). The only catch is that I found that the engine side of the carburetor actually had a different size o-ring (diameter) then the one that was original to the bike. As a result, it was very difficult to get it to seal. To fix this, I just removed the o-ring and replaced it with a rubber gasket that I cut to size (you can buy bulk gasket material either here on desertcart, or at your local auto parts dealer). I did have to modify the the cap of the carb to adapt it to my throttle cable assembly, but it looked like I could've used it as is if I had chosen. The only problem would've been the potential throttle cable length. Review: Not what’s in the picture - The picture doesn’t match the car you’ll get. What’s shipped is a much newer version of the VM20. They did happily return it though.

have a honda 88cc big bore motor I got from tb parts. never got the shen wey carb to work right. ordered this and it was a massive inprovement out of the box. i turned the air screw out 3 turns and left the needle alone. i need a smaller main. omg this is so good. i spent years with that shen way. wish i got this sooner.

Great carb, but runs a bit rich with the ...
Great carb, but runs a bit rich with the stock jetting. Jets for this carb are easy to find though and they're cheap too. More detailed info on the item would have been nice, the flange is a bit different than the carb it replaced and while it fits, it doesn't fit correctly. I have an adapter on the way and I'm sure I'll be pleased once everything is upgraded for proper use with my particular application. Big difference in quality from the Mikuni knockoffs, you'll be glad you spent the extra money on the real thing.

Worked perfect
Had a sheng wey carb (junk) on my 88cc honda pit bike. Bought this mikuni carb and rejetted for my bike. Works great and easy to tune after rejetting.
