Very strong magnets. These things work perfectly for plastic or vinyl name badges. The magnet is definitely strong enough to hold a badge in place. The only issue with these is accessing the back side of the garment your wearing. A regular button-up shirt is no problem, t-shirts or sweaters will cause you to dig around the neckline.If you're doing more than a bunch (50+) I recommend making a template for placement of the magnet to the back of the badge. Fold the bottom of a piece of paper over to create a pocket, mark the location of the badge, mark the location of where you want the magnet to be placed, and then start assembly. Be sure you have the metal plate on the correct side of the badge (normally the backside).

First off, I had no idea what 100 name badge magnets could do for me but at the price only slightly higher than 20 how could I resist. What a great product, it has come in handy a number of times and I've used them for a variety of art projects that have made it a great investment. One gentle reminder to everyone, this is a giant box of magnets. You should avoid putting it next to anything that can be impacted by magnetic fields (electronics, nails, your wallet). While the package these were delivered was utterly destroyed by the delivery agent, the contents were well packed and protected. I would highly recommend these to anyone interested in buying magnetic name tag backs.

The department uses these a lot during the school year for various activities like visiting speakers and poster presentations. We have a large whiteboard that also is magnetic and these do just fine however each poster (about 38"x42") need at least five of these to hold them up. But that's a small price to pay; these have lasted a long time

I've been using 3 magnet name badge holders for a while now and was happy that they are now available on Amazon. These are really strong magnets! (Watch your fingers, they can nip a little if you aren't careful..) I used these for name tags for a family reunion, with small (ages 5-12) children, running around playing outside.. and over a weeks time, not one child lost their name tag or magnet! (I did bring extra magnets just in case, turns out I didn't even need them!) So, if that's not a test of how good these are, I don't know what is. I highly recommend these, unless, of course, the name tag wearer also sports a pacemaker... in which case, I'm sure Amazon sells lanyards. But for everyone else, these magnets are the best!

This badge holder has worked perfectly for my husband with his work name badge. He didn't want to get pinholes in his nice shirts and this completely solved the problem. Very easy and simple to use. So happy I found these and purchased them.

These hold great. Used for name tags and hold thru thick materials. Great to use to replace tags with pins that can damage certain types of clothing.

We use these at events for name badges. We peel the backing off and attach to plastic name badge holders and attach the other piece. The attendees love them! They are strong enough to stay attached throughout the day and do not fall apart but aren't too difficult to pull apart and use. They come in boxes that hold them perfectly without any wasted room which makes storing them in our small storage closet super easy.
