Highly recommended.

How did we, humans, arrive? Prior to the idea of evolution occurred to humans the idea that something else, some supernatural stuff, brought us in to existence had occurred. We, and our surroundings with all the animate and inanimate things, must have been created by a creator with the exact form and behavior as we see it now. This creationist answer provided considerable solace to the pestering question about how did we humans arrive. The creationist thought established itself in our human minds into an unshakable belief. With little, if not none, scientific means we humans in our ignorance attributed our existence to the miraculous work of a creator, and that became our comfort zone. Over a period of time as human scientific temper improved few individuals choose to come out of the comfort zone and opted to conquer our ignorance through research and stumbled upon the idea of evolution. To check the validity of this idea the evolutionists over a period of time involved themselves in painstaking research and their efforts so far has been considerably rewarded. This book is a synopsis of all that we can learn from the meticulous efforts of the evolutionary biologists, explained in a simple and lucid manner without being too technical about the subject.
