Q: When charging this unit should the on/ off switch be on or off

Will charge on or off but if setting a few days with the switch on, it will discharge the battery over time as the receiver for the remote uses power.

Q: works overseas? south america? thanks

Couldn’t get it to work with cable in USA. So I returned it.

Q: How can I pick up channels with the antenna? Not getting anything.

Chose between antenna/cable. Choose antenna and tv will take about 5 minutes to program the channels.
